It looks like the page on the official website with the list of songs and they only post new music there right?

Unless there's a plan to upload every single song at some point....and if they did that they' probably order them by series. (or chronologically)

Also here's another proof it's fake. If it was real it would have had Gang-Plank Galleon under it rather then be under Breath of the Wild's Main Theme. Especially as they are in descending order from the point they are added

That tease doesn't really mean anything other than Nintendo seems to be aware of the Skull Kid discussions/theory.

I'd like the leakers to step up the effort, but at the same time i want the leaks to be easy to solve.

A leak of the entire roster doesn't always happen. Often you have to piece the full picture together using partial leaks from credible sources. I wouldn't necessarily hold your breath for some ESRB-scale leak. Especially given how much closer an already secretive company is playing this one to the chest.

Personally I'm expecting three different reveals over the next 4 months.

A Nintendo direct, a Smash direct and a "new fighter reveal trailer" similar to what Robin got.

I think people forget we don't need a direct to get a character. If Sakurai needs to he'll just post a newcomer trailer on its own.

I've been thinking about this today and this seems pretty feasible, on the optimistic side of things.

Yeah I agree, but if they were somehow able to work their magic and announce a golden sun game in the Nintendo direct then I think it would make sense to announce Isaac there as well

Well we came up during the golden age of RPGs, so it would've been hard to avoid them forever. I've played a decent amount, mostly from fourth, fifth, and sixth gens, but fanatic might be a bit of an oversell. I was a bit young to fully appreciate the SNES RPGs, most the ones I've played were done so years later, and my brother kept the PS1 in his room, so my time with it was limited and guarded, haha. I played a bevy of genres back then.

I do have a special place in my heart for some select RPGs though, like FF7 or GS1. Believe me, the Cloud trailer might've been the most I ever disbelieved something happening before my eyes. Super Mario RPG may be my favourite SNES game, but for some reason I don't have that same attachment to Geno. He's cool and I'd be psyched to see him, don't get me wrong, but like... he's not the star of that game, he's just a useful, well-designed party member... so I guess he doesn't mean as much to me as he does his staunch supporters. Some of whom probably even haven't played his game tbh lol.

But I did connect more with Isaac and Cloud and the like, they're more intrinsically tied to my memories of my time with those games. Could also be that I didn't play SMRPG til later on, as it wasn't available in my region growing up.


...why would they reuse the track we've had since Brawl? The site isn't going to feature some old piece of music. Obv they focus on the new arrangements.

Yeah I have some good memories of SMRPG when I was little. Memories of Geno kicking my ass in the duel with him actually. I regret that Golden Sun was not part of my young rpg reportoire. I played it a bit but never all the way through. Of course I still feel Isaac fully deserves inclusion in Smash just on sheer principle. And I really liked the game's artwork and combat, even if if hardly played it.

Final fantasy ate up much of my time when I was young, along with Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask, Paper Mario, Pokemon and of course, Smash. But final fantasy 7 impacted me more than any game I've ever played. So much so the the Buster Sword, Master Sword and Monado are tattooed in a cross sheath on my back, and I still listen to the OST almost every day at work. Truly one of the greatest ever.

Hopefully some day I'll actually play Golden Sun when I have more time.

SMRPG was literally my first RPG, it's one of my all time favorite games, but I don't get the Geno hype. Seems like the Smash community just hyperfixated on a random one-off RPG party member. I'd be happy for his longtime fans if he got in and I can't say I would hate SMRPG getting some love, but...

I only got into FF7 a few years ago, but it easily rocketed into my top ten. I was in hype overdrive with Cloud's reveal - only K. Rool topped it for me.

Yes Camalot was shown off in the e3 trailer in the credits for Waluigi, but that could mean we are still keeping the GS music? Who knows!

Just thinking about it has me thinking, maybe they will give Isaac something, but I mean if they were going to show him off why not with WaLuigi? Two birds one stone for AT,

To be honest though if they plan on making another Mario sports game for the switch, PLEASE for the love of God let it be Mario strikers. The gamecube version had to be one of my favorite games at the time

A conclusion like that doesn't really take that much research or thought.

An assumption with no basis in fact, an opinionated observation.

You also have Krystal, Bomberman, Shovel Knight, Daisy, Chrom and Dark Samus adding to that. It's clear Sakurai is using the Ballot to give us one hell of a ride

Not to mention how Sakurai specifically said in the Direct that characters like Ridley, Simon, Chrom and Dark Samus were "highly requested". He's no doubt taking fan demand into consideration for this game. In fact, he always has, but for Ultimate it seems to be the main focus.

Alright, guys, we need to remember something very important. We are Isaac supporters. Regardless of how others view us, regardless of how some of you guys may be doubting his chances, regardless of how some of us may be so sure he's in that we might get burned, we are Isaac's people. We are the only people keeping the hype going for this character.

Even if you have a gut feeling Isaac won't make it in, you should still do whatever you can to support the character. We already know the alternatives, assist trophy or nothing at all. They've been discussed to death and we're all well aware that things may not go our way. But until I've received confirmation as to Isaac's fate, I am not giving up and I'm going to go forward with enough optimism for everyone.

As someone who is personally not a big fan of Golden Sun, I have always enjoyed this thread and how respectful and relaxed Isaac supporters are. I've definitely seen some K. Rool fans get into nasty spats about other characters or series, but I've never seen it with Isaac fans here. People here are hopeful but not taking it out on other characters so far. You guys have been a serious underdog for much of Smash speculation, and things might be finally going your way after all this time. Let's hope for some good news these last few months.

I did notice that when I branched out into the other groups. So glad the Isaac supporters here are so much in agreement and so supportive. We can do this everyone! With the power of friendship (ehh it's a Xenoblade reference. But it fits well)

Thank you! As much as i am being a bit pessimistic, i do wish that Isaac would get in! But i also don't feel like that Isaac is a definite newcomer. I just want to scale down my expectations.

This would be an amazing roster. I'd probably add a second Xenoblade rep (Elma) and also Bandana Dee for his fans but even then I can't really fault this roster. Personally it would make me very very happy.

If that was the base roster before dlc it would be even more insane.

It means that any nintendo character could get into smash.


Wonder Red. Custom Robo. Saki from Sin and Punisment. Takamaru. Dillon.

These characters might also have a chance to get into smash. Obscurity or not.


It would further cement what makes Smash Bros so great. The exposure to other franchises.
