So far I predict Dabuz just slightly over ZeRo taking this.

Unless Nairo can get the upset of ZeRo again or even the possibility Salem goes full Nairo Saga form again

It's a bit surprising since top Marios tend to struggle against Peach if you look at the set history between both characters

Nairo said he was working on secondaries a bit but we haven't seen any so far. I'd be surprised if he didn't vs Zero. Dabuz is Dabuz. He adapted and stuffed Zero last time, but Zero is the king of grind so we will see. I'd love to see False in top 8 tho.

It's worth noting that Dabuz is one of five* people who have beaten ZeRo more than once (Along with Ally, ANTi, Kirihara, and Larry), I could definitely see him doing it again, if he can get past Nairo if he has to fight him.

That was the most tragic thing I've seen all day. Anti's coming in clutch with the streams tho.

It funny how multiple earth shaking upsets in a national is pretty normal for smash 4. Anyway, this may seem slightly out of place, but I remember last year how many players hated the conditions of Evo. Have things gotten better or are they still the same?

Yeah but no, you can't take away the accomplishment of upsetting someone but you also cannot say BO3 sets don't have any weight on the way a set is approached and played out. You have a game with two stock matches in a BO3 you have a max of 6 stocks or 18 minutes to adapt and adjust as the set goes on and your margin for error is much smaller as one SD can lose you the set. Compared to a BO5 you get a max of 10 sticks and 30 minutes to adjust and adapt, and you have a lot more room for error. SD'ing and losing game two because of it doesn't lose you the set you still have three games if your down 2-0 to make that up. You SD and lose a stock in game one and lost that game and your suddenly at match point, it adds stress, nerves among other things, that's a significant difference that can't be ignored.

Having said that like I said congrats to those getting these upsets it's still not at all easy.
