Who's Urameshi? Is he the same person as Mumei, who the bracket says beat ZD? Who does he play?
According to smash.gg, yes. He also beat Kiki but lost to TLTC in loser's semis of the pool.
He plays Meta Knight.

Was it Thinkaman who wanted to know how the Bayo-Mac matchup went?

Soooo as far as Japan....Aba and Tsu are in losers.
Rn I know Japan has KEN, komo, ranai, raito, and eim still in. Anyone I'm missing?
Either way this must be a nightmare for Japan.....

Little Mac is very, VERY difficult to approach to, he gets obliterated once in the air, but breaking his defense might be difficult.
Basically Bayo loses the neutral pretty hard, and if she doesn't convert her juggles correctly, she'll lose.

I've said it before, but that's the danger of oversimplifying easy MUs. Ppl will continue to advance the counterplay for any MU.

That said, people do simplify Mac a lot to "get Mac in the air" while forgetting Mac does have a high/top tier neutral game. And a very solid advantage state. Regardless of how far he drops on the tier list, he'll always be scary to fight.

Fox and Bayo out here shattering dreams

and Japan is still doing quite well. Half of their heavy hitters are still in winners with another two in losers.

Now we're getting ZeRo vs Mr. E again at EVO but hopefully on stream this time.

Fox players continue to make a good showing as of late. What do you guys think he brings to the table that are allowing him to take sets against so many talented players? My impression of him is that he's akin to a surgical knife, where precise play is hugely rewarding (then again, I'm sure that can be said of most chars).
And not too surprised about Locus losing to NAKAT's Ness; it's reminiscent of his loss to FOW not too long ago

And here I was thinking we wouldn't get a tournament this year that would top Civil War in terms of upsets. But this might be the tournament to do so.

Now THAT is an upset.

One of the big 4 ousted. Ally in losers, so that leaves Zero in a pretty comfortable position considering his record vs Nairo.

Dabuz also has a high chance of taking EVO now too. Making it the 2nd S-tier tournament he will win

Damn, WaDi over Earth 2-1.

Showed some good adaptation, and Mewtwo's damage output is pretty nuts. It also shows that even though Earth has top tier neutral, Mewtwo has top tier neutral tools.
