yeah, but thats dimensions; this is time, which is a different concept... if Link got sent back in time, he wouldn't be there in Adult Links time... really, the only thing that I can think of that makes sense, is if Ganon breaks out of his seal IN the future by using some sort of messed up time manipulation BS...

'bout the Zelda timeline.

Platnum is right. Zelda Returns link to his childhood this leads to Majoras mask and later TP.

However the link of the future timeline dissapears, Ganondorf returns(from the dead, he CAN'T die), then the godess flood hyrule because there's no one to stop him. This is the Windwaker timeline.

Also Ganondorf doesn't die at the end of TP, the Triforce of power sleeps and he "dies" but the triforce can awaken again, and if it does then Ganondorf returns.

Oh also, yes, Ocarina of time is the FIRST one in the timeline, this was said by Shigeru Miyamoto himself.

1. Shuma, he said that before the release of numerous games. It is generally believed that Minish cap is now the first one. OOT is the single most important game in the timeline though.

you know what i just found out? nintendo is getting lamer, kiddy versions of spore. the ds one is called spore creatures and is 2-d, you control it directly, its like a cross between nintendogs and drawn to life, and the wii one is supposed to be similar. god f***ing d***it! i wanted to create an army of evil monsters to conquer the universe! not cuddle with adowable creatures!

All I know is that Ocarina of Time is the first in the timeline. (A very ****ed up at that.)

OoT is third. the first is minish cap, then Four swords(the one on GBA, not the game cube FS adventures), then OoT.

also, I just got a PSP. one of the white ones with Darth Vader on the back. I got it for $100 because someone returned it saying it didn't work, but it's perfectly fine! :D

anyone want to recommend some good games? I already have Final Fantasy Tactics on my list, and I was thinking of Ratchet and Clank. any other good one I'm not thinking of?

And any of the Grand Theft Auto's are good.

I have Renegade Squadron. it came with the PSP (Star Wars bundle, hence the Darth Vader PSP) I'm not much of a fan of the other two series, though...

Shuma, The Minish Cap is part of the Four Swords saga. it's not part of Wind Waker, it just uses the same art style.

No, its not in the wind waker timeline, it cant be. it just has WW style graphics. believe me, I know my zelda, also, I remember an issue of NP that said MC is first.

1: All Zelda games take place in their own little world. There, we're all happy.

Zelda timeline:
First:
minnish cap:
Not only does it explain the origin of links cap, but it also shows vaati in a "human" form, meaning that it has to come before the Four swords(in which vaati was in a transformed state).

Second:
four swords:
it was difficult to place as it lacks much of a story, but it makes sense in second).

third:
OoT:
This is wear complication insues
at the end off the game ganon is sealed, and link is sent back in time.
this removes him from the WW timeline, and it also splits the triforce of courage into 8 peices, setting the stage for WW and PH(which need no explination about there placement).
meanwhile, Ylink and Yzelda, tell the king about Ganondorf's plan to steal the triforce and he is sentenced to death.


Fourth:
majoras mask:
Link leaves Hyrule(dont ask me why) and saves termina from a falling moon.

Fifth(timeline A)
LttP
After Ganondorf is sentenced to death, he is sealed in the Twilite realm/Dark world.
Him being there causes him to become Ganon(pig monster), he his killed there by a new link, yet his spirit lingers and he then visists Zant and uses him to be revived.


sixth:
TP:
With zant in controle of twilit realm, he begins a conquest off hyrule, and revives ganondorf in the process, ganondorf is killed in the end.


7th:
FS adventures:
Vaati is realesed from the four sword because dark link tricked link into pulling it.
Vaati uses ganons trident to revive him.
Vaati is destroyed, and ganon is sealed in the four sword.


8th:
LoZ(original)
ganon has escaped from the foursword and terrorizes hyrule, driving everyone north.
He is defeted again, by another new link.


9th:
Zelda 2:
Shadow link and ganons servents attempt to revive ganon. long story short, they FAIL.


10th:
Seasons/ages
This game I have yet to play, but from what ive heard, gannon is revived and defeted.


last:
Links awakening:
In order to prevent ganon from being revived, Link leaves hyrule, since this the end, there is no need explain the rest of the story(I havent played this one either).


Timeline B:
this is the link-less timeline created when zelda sends link back in time.

there is no need to explain it, as PH folows WW derictly, and they are the only timeline B games.
