BTW, in case anyone was wondering:

Brawl and Melee should be starting at around the same time frame (1PM).

The Pokemon tournament will start as both Brawl and Melee start coming to a close (this is due to the drawn out nature of the Pokemon tournaments. Brawl teams were held up for almost two hours at Steakfest!! 1 because of this).

Brawl RSRC will start at about the same time Pokemon does.

Even though we DO have the place until all the events are officially completed, I want to try to get everything done around midnight. While I'm sure Brawl and Melee will finish even if they start late, I'm pushing to finish the events quickly, so I could hopefully also manage to squeeze in Brawl Doubles, as there seems to be a good amount of players interested in entering. If we get enough people, we'll put Doubles priority over RSRC, if necessary.

Oh, and I WILL NOT hesitate to DQ players who show up to their matches late.

Because of food and whatnot, I may put everything on hold for a one-hour period for people to run and get food if they need to. However, if this is used, the moment the tournament starts up again, you will be DQ'd if you fail to show to your matches (I'm giving people 5 minutes to show, btw).

There's no excuse to take more than 1 hour to get food, especially in the area of town I live in.

In the case that there's not many entrants in any of the events, we can opt for a quick vote for a round robin tournament, or something like that.

Of course, MMs are welcome in any of the three games. However, please hold them off until before or after all the events are over (if we have time when they're all done).

-McClusky and I will be managing the Melee tournament.
-Tofer and I should be able to take care of Brawl.
-JUJ and I will deal with Pokemon.

Of course, we are open to any volunteers, should everyone be busy with matches or whatnot.

That's about it for now. I'll post any updates when they come in.

Yeah, I was about to say I'd volunteer to keep Melee moving. I'll even bring my laptop.

I'm expecting a good turnout. Make sure all your friends at Suspect's tournament last December come!

Hey Espy, if you want I could try to help out with Brawl Singles. I don't have the money to enter the thing, but I'll still be there. Not really sure what I could do though. >_> Never helped at a tournament before, lol.

I play with my whole hand. You only have your thumbs to work with.

Arcade Stick > Controller

In all honesty, there are many things that are almost impossible to do on a pad because of the limitations. I can easily demonstrate in Street Fighter IV when I play Honda.

Arcade sticks are just way cooler to use. For some reason it seems easier to get muscle memory working on them. i can still remember awesome Iori combos for KoF2000 and epic 70% of your life bar Kula combos from KoFXI

[/biased opinion from somebody who grew up learning fighters on arcade consoles.]

i know this is a long shot, but is anybody in SA/Austin into KoF?

Donkey Bong, we're totally gonna discuss Disney films at this.
crap, i hardly remember Lion King and Aladdin, let alone some of the more obscure ones...

Let me start this off by saying that I will be there with a TV/Wii/Brawl setup.

Next I want to point out that I want to do 1$ MM in Brawl only to anyone who wants a MM. Standards are as follows.

3/5 matchs
Starting Neutrals excluding Yoshi's Island
Counterpicks Stages are normal

They are to be played on my Wii so I can save the match's.

I'll be there at 11 or 11:30.

I'll bring my 360 stick but I'll be uber sad if I have to play it on the Ps3 cause I don't have my stick for it. :'(

Last but not least, Ziggy you better show your face there stay here longer. No johns
