It'd be neat if you could get cars to move around in the background too, but then I don't know where you could possibly find realistic cars in MDL0 format.

I did say realistic, you know. Most of the cars in SA2 look like cars out of real life with the obvious exception of the karts. Of course, I thought of the Onett cars and they would suffice I guess, but I was just thinking is all.
I have a realistic enough car that I got from Wii Sports Resort, so maybe he could use that.

Also, I might as well show what I have so far.

Things to know about steep floor collisions:
They work up to 89.9 degrees
90 degrees causes a glitch in which the character will teleport to the beginning of the attached collision.
...idk?

That's awesome. Y'know, I had an idea similar to that after seeing a 2D stage of an image of the earth. Would it be possible to make floor collisions go around the circumference of the stage? Avoiding 90 angles, of course.

nope after 90 degrees weird stuff happens, or it just doesn't work at all. That would be cool though

Olimario, do you think you'll ever try and finish this bad boy?

I was REALLY looking forward to it :(
Yes, I was actually going to retry making that starting next weekend from scratch. I never understood why the original didn't work though.

For that city escape stage, what are the stage collisions gonna be like?

They're not gonna be on that ridiculously slanted road are they?

Cause then we're gonna need this guy to forecast the fight

Olimario, I think I know what's gone wrong with Lake Hylia, the same happened once to me and I was able to fix.

I might take a look at it again.

EDIT: I didn't make the .OBJ importing work. One guy on KC:MM tried importing these models into Brawl but it didn't work, something like "models too complex"? IDR

But you know, stage builder method is there for this, it just WAY more time/work consuming.

Yo

The first little demonstration showing what I've done so far with Crateria Surface. Eh, it's not much yet, and the block method leaves it looking a little blocky
durr hurr hurr
but it's progress.

I'm starting something. All I can say now is that it'll be pretty crazy.
Who knows what kind of things will be used? Probably a whole bunch of gizmos and gadgets.

Please let that be Soul Society. If it is, do I have your permission to make it the home stage of my upcoming Rukia project? ^^

Unfortunately the model injector thingy can only work on the first model in the brres, so you only get one type of car. I'm also concerned that the texture for it may screw up a little like it did on the blimp but you can probably get away with it by just making it all one solid color...maybe.

Search through Green Hill Zone's modeldatas, I never needed them but I saw them in-game and IIRC they're 3D.

Also, you could use Pikazz's ring that was .obj imported.
