Well… fair enough, but that's still a little different since it's the most recent game in the series. Unless you count Nintendo Land lol. And I mean really, what are they going to put as a link for Captain Falcon or Ice Climbers? Probably Virtual Console pages for Ice Climber and F-Zero.
And in Japan, it links to Mystery of the Emblem.
You seemed to miss the part where it was established that his page only links to Awakening outside of Japan. It's definitely possible that Marth could be the Awakening representative. He is sort of in the game, both as DLC and the spoiler that everyone knows. But I highly doubt it if his page links to an earlier game in Japan. That's practically confirmation, if you ask me.
So? It links to Awakening on the Europe one, so clearly they aren't adverse to associating him with that game.

Sorry to clog up this thread with short responses, but ugh. It links to Awakening on the European, American, and most versions of the site. Only the Japanese links to MotE.
Considering neither of us are going to budge on this subject, my best bet is to just wait and see what happens.
I would be completely unopposed to a Rhythm Heaven rep. They're awesome games and they deserve to be represented in Smash in some way.
Then technically it would make more sense to link him to that in Japan wouldn't it? Like I said, that doesn't change that fact that he's associated with the Awakening game in other regions. Meaning a stage from Awakening doesn't necessarily mean an Awakening rep.

If that's the Mario Kart leaker he got actual information from Mario Kart wrong in that same leak, so the leak is basically dead.
Oh... dammit, don't remind me. At least we got trophies I guess. But that video didn't show me anything I didn't already know. I have the game. Beyond the music, its just a slight branch off the Wario Ware series. I just don't see Sakurai going this crazy. RH is truly niche, people want to argue Xenoblade, Golden Sun, retros, but this would just take the damn cake. This would be a WTF for the sake of WTF and I'm against that kind of crap. WFT, R.O.B and G&W are all important in some way.

While that is true, honestly, how many characters are people expecting? We already have 29 confirmed, with a good chunk of Brawl's roster unrevealed. I can't see us getting a huge number of newcomers. So while 48 is deconfirmed, i'd say it's probably close to what we are actually getting.
How ever many Sakurai puts in the game.
Saria from OoT3D, Little Mac from Captain Rainbow, and Phosphora from KI:U. No connection, near as I can figure. I think people are looking way too much into the character trophies shown in the Direct. The only one I see as a possible hint is Pseudo-Palutena. That just felt mean-spirited.
In Melee, the increase was 14 including Sheik. 14 newcomers.

I dunno if Ice Climbers would be the one since the Polar Bear didn't show up until the Press Kit. Chrom is a possibility with the Tiki trophy.

I don't know what that means, but CAW is a respected member who has been involved in the leaking of many other fighting games.
