I'm going to play along so as to help get this thread back on topic (take the hint, guys, and go discuss that awful idea for Yoshi in some other thread). Sure, go ahead, find out whatever you can about what your source does for a living, and whatever else about characters, stages, modes, etc. he's willing to share. It can't hurt to build up more information from a single source; if it's legitimate, that's self-explanatory, whereas if it's not, contradictions will surface.Ok guys I'm back. I actually have noticed that this isn't getting much attention, which is fine, but someone here mentioned something about Diddy Kong so I thought I'd see if my buddy could get some info on it. From what his source hears (not sure what he actually does for a living, maybe I should ask if you all are interested?) Diddy Kong is returning in some way, though it doesn't seem to be any sort of Dixie tag team thing like some are suggesting.
I know this wasn't a lot to go off of, but from how it seems it's just a situation where a guy knows a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy, and it's more of a what people have heard instead of actually seen type deal. Don't know how legit most of this is but I'll keep you posted as much as I can. Back to lurking

Why does this rumor depend on a Wed announcement? I didn't see that, it just said it was "coming". Also don't see how Yoshi and Baby Mario is off topic as its a Smash rumor. Speaking of that I see no reason to add B.Mario to Yoshi. What would be the point?

Eh I don't know, I think a Direct dedicated to DK TP is only going to piss people off more and would be a far worse Direct than this leaked one. We've had enough Tropical Freeze stuff.
I'm pretty sure that the rumour of Ness and Jigglypuff appearing on the TV of the Nintendogs stage is unproven.
I don't think any rumor suggests we'd get a Direct solely dedicated to TF, but obviously Nintendo is still going to focus on it whenever we do get another Direct (assuming we get one this month - which I can't imagine we won't), considering it's pretty much their only noteworthy Wii U game this month.
