As much as getting both Little Mac and Geno would be everything I wanted in Brawl (also lip, it'd be too good to be true i'd feel bad all my most wanted characters got in when other peoples didnt), the leak is clearly fake as can be.

To be honest, there's not a whole lot of reason to be active on MMO-Champion right now, since it's a WoW site and there's currently a big drought in regards to news. In general it's also a very "come and go" forum. If he wanted to talk about Smash Bros., he likely went to other sites.

Thing is, he did talk about smash on that site. A lot actually. He had a very active post history especially in regards to smash recently as well. There's a megathread about smashbros on that site, which is where he'd usually go to talk about it. Then he got off (for two months at that), and then back on to make that post and hasn't posted since. If you go through his post history, you will see he was very active. He even talked about Pokemon a lot as well. I'm going to find is suspicious that he randomly got on that day after days of being inactive from discussion, and then randomly going back to say that he played a smash demo that coincides perfectly with Erenjaegers leak.

This is another thing I find interesting. Nintendo had two DK events in Toronto and Vancouver. So far, we've supposedly only had two people tell us about these "demos". The kicker is, one just so happens to come from Toronto, and the other just so happens to come from Vancouver. Hmmm.

Honestly, and I mean no offense by this, you sound a little too young to have a friend that is out of school with a full time job in the video game industry. Even though it's been disproven (and it does make me sad, since your fake was the best roster we've ever seen in a rumor) it's best to admit that you're lying so everyone can move on instead of saying that some of it's true, just to cover your ***.

i can see where youre coming from and i realize thats it probably easier to stay skeptical and not believe me but i can assure you that i have a close friend working inside nintendo. its not violating his TOA since he never leaked any real information (at least no specifics.) im assuming that the characters he claimed are in the game are easily guessable and probably shoe-ins due to the nature of our conversation. believe or not but thats up to you. why would i knowingly choose to ruin my rep just to post a fake leak?

Seeing as how it happens so soon to the Direct (IE: A day before as with most of the leaks remniscent of the LPM leak) I wouldn't be surprised if the chap is getting the information a bit early from someone at Nintendo and they aren't exactly doing the right thing.

I don't recall any leak about Rosetta. I think it's just a case by case basis, a Nintendo employee tells someone about something and they likely go blab about it when they shouldn't. When it's this close, however, Nintendo isn't exactly going to care as much as a leak that is aimed at long term and is legitimate.

If it comes to that, do what I do and literally just close every single window expect the live stream. I typically don't talk about ND reveals or look any info about them until it's done airing. No spoilers, no leaks, no problem!

In regards to Mii's as playable fighters, I think they are being strongly hinted at, although not in the way many of us (maybe just me) would like. Take a look at the Villagers moves, if you've played Animal Crossing you'll notice that some of them don't quite fit in, or so it would seem, let's not forget how tricky Sakurai has been this time around (disguised Punch Out!! stage, Toon Link on the train stage etc.). But what does that have to do with Mii's? Are the playable or not? The answer is both! Please consider the following:

I don't think it's what you could necessarily call a "leak", but more so that the ND was accidentally released early.

That picture, I think it was leaked literally minutes before the direct was actually able to be viewed by everyone. Someone supposedly found the leaked the URL to the video (it's unlisted ,as you can see in the picture) and leaked some screenshots. There was a few reactions in the gamefaqs ND thread, and many people didn't believe it at first. Again, literally minutes before "everyone else" was able to see it. It's a small leak yeah, but it's something (and to a lesser extent, similar to the leak ocarina posted) we can keep an eye out for.

@ErenJager, I understand that you might not remember everything from the demo if you have actually played it, but I have a few questions that are fairly simple even for a casual gamer like you.

1. Where specifically did you go when someone told you there was going to be a Smash demo? What building was it in, and did you see any employee of some sort from Nintendo?

2. What stage(s) did you battle on the Smash 3DS?

3. How long did you play for with your brother?

4. How many people were told about the Smash 3DS demo?

5. Do you have pictures of the Donkey Kong event at Science World to make your information credible?

6. And would you give us, the Smash community, a description of the weather conditions at the event if you remember?

That is what I want to know and hear from ErenJager as well.

Also to add, I would want him to tell us about the controls of the 3DS version too.

Although I do feel a bit awkward that they would demo the 3DS version rather than the Wii U version or even both versions. Something about ErenJager's claims still doesn't feel right, but we'll wait and see anyways even though I will still take this with a grain of salt.

This might be a long shot but, I watched the Rosalina video multiple times trying to find a hint going for a new Metroid representative.

I found this yellow 'star' but, it's the only yellow one in the whole video, it's not the star launcher from Mario Galaxy cause well, Kirby used one and it wasn't that.

1.) It's our sun

2.) It's Brinstar, it's virtually the SAME EXACT shade of yellow lava:

So, I feel like either Brinstar is coming back (hopefully with Kraid) or a new Metroid representative (hopefully Ridley).

I watched the video multiple times and I couldn't find anything else hinting at something.

Regarding the Erenjager leak:

Nintendo have been known to do small demo screenings in the past; I've been to one, but it was a Skyward Sword demo at a a Zelda event, and it was heavily advertised.
Essentially, they let everybody know it was happening, and you were required to queue to play the demo behind a curtained area. Everybody was checked for cameras and such on the way in.
It's not entirely unreasonable to assume that they would do something like this, but I find it hard to believe that it would be at a DK event and not actually advertised.

EDIT: I should mention that this was quite a long time before the game was launched, as well. I got to have a go with some stuff that hadn't been shown in trailers yet.
