If he gets all of them, I will believe. But for now, this leak is only alive because people want it to be, and they keep ignoring or twisting it's meaning. Saying they just delayed them for next E3, then saying they aren't all for E3 like the leak says. It could still be true, but that's the only reason people don't disregard it. Like how Villager's helmet and baloons debunk Baloon Fighter, but his gloves somehow didn't dis confirm Little Mac because people wanted him. Leaks are disregarded if they are about something no one cares about.

Well uh that's great and all but the post in question just says "my unlikely prediction"
I don't know why you wouldn't believe it when it guessed 3 characters correctly that all appeared on the same day, one of them previously 'not being suitable for smash bros.' and another nobody guessed.

Oh and for the other fella saying this leak was de-confirmed because of Rosalina, that doesn't mean a thing, nowhere was it said that was the full roster.

The leak was posted in an E3 predictions thread. A 50% success rate does not qualify as an accurate prediction. The leak was wrong. Those characters may very well be in, but they were not revealed at E3 2013.

I am arguing based on facts, as we should do for any leak. Based on the facts, namely that the other three promised reveals did not occur, this leak is false. Will Pac-Man and Mii appear in SSB 4? Quite possibly.

If we open the door to allowances and "what-ifs" any leak can be said to be true. I don't see why this leak should be given any more credence than one that predicted Skull Kid as playable, based on the facts.

First off, I do not know what Sakurai plans to update with for individual POTDs, as he does it as his own pace bar special examples like revealing characters to coincide with releases and Nintendo Directs.

Anyway, I have been talking to a source of mine who knows quite a bit about Smash 4, and has shared with me various details that I have compiled, some of this info is based on planned content and may not make it into the final cut, however, he believes that at this point in time everything is more or less set.

First, the only cuts are Snake (due to issues with Konami), and Lucario and Ike, due to lacking "relevancy" when the character roster was being formed.

Newcomers are Villager, WFT, Mega Man, Rosalina, Little Mac, Mii, Pac-Man, Medusa, Mewtwo, Genesect, Mach Rider, Chrom, and a new original character named "Master Hanafuda". Little Mac will be the next newcomer to be revealed, but I am not sure when, but in a soon-to-be Nintendo Direct.

Rather than typing up the mass amount of info I've been given, instead I will answer questions asked about what is, or isn't, included in Smash. Believe me or not, but I shall provide answers regardless to any question.

Interesting how close people can get with their guesses. Even though fake I'd be interested in reading more.

Yes. As huge Monster Hunter fan, I agree with you. There is absolutely nothing especial about a monster hunter. If they want to pay homage to this incredible series in some way, they should put one or two monsters as stage hazards in some stage of the game, perhaps Rathalos (one of the most well known monsters in the series) and Gore Magala (the flagship monster of the most recent game). That said, I find the idea of putting a ****ing slime from Dragon Quest even more ridiculous than a monster hunter.

It's got wrong info, but successfully predicts many elements of the game, and English names of the pokemon. That isn't something you just guess, but he still didn't get 100% of it right.

Thought I'd pop in to give my thoughts on the Sal Romano leak.
Somebody gets info on E3 reveals. Notices boxing ring which all but confirms Mac - that makes 4 characters.
Finally, makes up two more characters just to **** with people.
Unlikely? Yeah, to say the least. But it 's quite plausible. Think about it: Telling everybody the three characters to be revealed at E3 would be utterly pointless - people would just look at WFT and say "lolobvfake" and move on, not to mention the situation with Villager. Then when it's confirmed, the leak will be pointless because all the information will already have been revealed. While WFT was revealed a bit after the others, she's still so outlandish that people still would not have given a thought to it in the very short time period between the original trailer and WFT's trailer.

This means that somebody had the perfect opportunity to completely troll the living **** out of every rabid Smash fan by tossing in two of the most questionable and hated (yet still popular) character suggestions imaginable. I should point out that this concept is the only reason offered as to why somebody might have spent so much time and effort shopping Palutena.

At any rate, as FalKoopa says, the notion that Little Mac's reveal somehow solidifies the rumor is laughable.

I'd say this qualifies under willy and or nilly, since it would probably be a nameless character to begin with. I suppose so. But somehow I doubt anymore newcomers from new franchises will be added though, otherwise All-Star will be a nightmare. The Boxing Ring had changes after Little Mac was revealed. Sakurai made it look like a generic stage until lil' Mac was confirmed. Point still stands.

Yes. The Monster Hunter devs don't support the "main character" from the game being included in a fighting game, reason being exactly what you said, because it would be just a random nameless character.

namco working on the game
Pac Man has been in mario kart and namco has put him in fighting games recently
mii's in everything nintendo has lately
sakurai said there would be some form of customization
pilot wings/wii resort and find mii being shown to be part of the game already (similar to the boxing ring being shown before mac and mario galaxy before rosalina)

and of course we also have:

a leak that has guessed 4 out of 6 newcomers, one of them being the literally UNGUESSABLE Wii Fit Trainer.

look maybe he just assumed the characters he saw would be revealed at E3 but make no mistake someone saw official smash footage and made that leak of the characters that they saw.

maybe palutenas the next reveal or something but seriously brace for Mii and Pac-Man, you can say it isn't 100% cause it isn't but at this point their likelihood of appearing in this game is around 90% or so whether you like it or not.
