but the jewel on the walrus helm, looks stupidly close....
however I'm dubious at Luma being cropped outta the image seeing as both are the character not just Rosalina...but that's me being padantic when I'm sure the Pikmin get cropped out too
His inclusion does make perfect, and I could see K.Rool being revealed as part of Tropical Freeze soon too, similar to how Rosalina was confirmed for 3D World JUST prior to its launch

If Yoshi is revealed to be revamped tomorrow and have Baby Mario with him? Okay. Fine. I think Yoshi is fine if boring the way he is, but if they can revamp Yoshi who didn't entirely need it. Why couldn't they have improved people that actually do need it and need that diversity? Like Toon Link, Sonic, the inevitable still a clone of Captain Falcon Ganondorf.

I find it pointless.
Yoshi doesn't need a baby on his back. He just needs to be buffed.

As great as this year of yoshi sounds, I find it hard to believe that on the day dkc:tf is released, a game nintendo have spent so much time on advertising and perfecting, they steal it's thunder by making today all about yoshi. Seems like a weird strategy to me.

Yoshi with Baby Mario would still be Yoshi, a veteran, though. We can't know for sure.

None the less, I am hoping this Yoshi thing is fake.

I'm wondering what kind of move set changes Yoshi could have. I mean, Baby Mario doesn't really offer anything new, move set wise.

Yoshi is one of the original 12 so logic dictates he'd be buffed/balanced rather than reworked, gaining Baby Mario as part of Final Smash rather than weird Angel Yoshi seems much more likely IMO

Don't be a baby. (;D) Yoshi + Baby Mario is a better choice than two of the Newcomers we've already got. I hope it's real just so everyone is sad.

So current live rumours combined with logic based on previous reveals suggest tomorrow & the Direct that follows could bring us one or more of:

well that's certainly a lot to kill in the OP on Friday! My bet's on Shulk :-P

EDIT: seriously though I can see a returnee as Pic of Day (to support the 13th, so probably Diddy- let's call that 'leak' an educated guess IMO) and a Newcomer in the Direct that night

Yeah. WFT is a waste of newcomer when she could potentially be taking the spot of K. Rool or Ridley. Villager is acceptable, but meh. I was disappointed with the reveal of Rosalina. She's about as meh of a newcomer as we could've gotten. Bowser Jr. should've been the choice if she is the only Mario newcomer. The only gold newcomer we've gotten so far is Mega Man imo.

They need to add the hard hitters (Ridley, K. Rool, Bowser Jr., Mewtwo, Krystal, etc.) first that everyone's been begging for since Melee before they start throwing in the curve balls.

I like Wii Fit Trainer. IMO she's a unique addition.

I like the character IF we also get the characters that we've been begging for for almost a decade too. Ridley in Smash Bros. before I die pls.... lol

Every newcomer who has been revealed so far has been a worthwhile addition to the roster IMO. Unique, vibrant and perfectly represents things that are not already in the roster of the entire Smash series or the series they are representing.

Don't be so hard to please.

I agree, still irks me though.

As for G&W, I was never really bothered by him, but the backlash for ROB was not too kind if I recall, so it surprises me that they would do a similar thing again.

Something worth noting about the Yoshi leak is that it doesn't mention anything about X or Level 5, both of which are presumably making an appearance. Not sure if that counts towards anything though.
