I just went onto the Gamefaqs Smash 4 section for the first time to laugh at some fake leaks but some of those threads / thread titles....

what in the world?

All of these leaks are just a list of things that are confirmed then they say something everyone thinks or wants to happen that won't. I don't remember too many lists with Palutena in it before the leaked pic. I'm sure more lists will say "Yea theres a new sky world stage for the Wii U version" or "Theres a cool new Beetle item from Skyward Sword!!!" theres probably stuff trying to justify Lucario's placement back in the roster (not that im against lucario im actually pretty excited.) like "Lucario is actually Sakurai's favorite Pokemon so he is going to be in every smash game from now on but its ok because Mewtwo is still in along with Zoarark!" Idk man I think that there are just obvious fakes that list something obvious that we know is going to happen just to get attention. Like people saying "Diddy is revealed next" ha ha ha yea we know already.(except we didnt because of Lucario)

No they aren't, piantas as characters are nowhere to be found in 3d world.

He specifically mentioned it will be very online focused with lots of miiverse and community functions. Every nintendo IP has miiverse and online functions, but both the developer direct and this article go out and say that the online is a bigger focus in this game.

the delaying of the announcement of a game isn't unheard of, and is an entirely likely possibility. and the other game mentioned is a "smaller project like DKC returns" which was what i was referencing earlier.

I'm not blindly following this, it's in my watch list now. Good exaggeration there m8.
Also, more wrong than right? seriously? What he got wrong was half of the details on 3d world, what the smash teaser would be, and Retro's new game announcement post e3.
Compare to him knowing all those wii u and 3ds games will be shown at e3 and saying which ones will be 2013 releases, the predicted japanese only nintendo direct geared towards band brothers, Mario Kart's focus on online, Kirby for the 3ds in the farther future, Chibi robo making it as an eshop only release, and the new mario not being a galaxy game with some touchscreen mechanics. Not to mention he doesn't mention yarn yoshi on the e3 lineup saying it's delayed, for it to not show up at e3 due to not being ready.

Star fox isn't even close to daigasso in obscurity, and predicting a japan only direct for it is certainly not a lucky guess. Not to mention Chibi robo fitting the "niche 3ds eshop only" title that was mentioned and him getting the "50/50" shot you put up for kirby AND predicting it won't be shown off for a good while after e3. The difference here is that this person proved their credibility to the author of the article before leaking this information by tipping him off before certain Sega games were announced.

A Moderator is a staff position for the site and is someone who makes sure everything is running smoothly, no rules are being broken, and deals with issues that users on the site might be facing.
They are basically the "law enforcement" of the forums and rank higher than average users, though Super Moderators, Senators, and Admins rank higher than them.

Don't worry, I only abuse my powers a little. ;)

I'm kinda late to the party, but the Tabuu leaks were confirmed to be fake when Sakurai said and I quote ''There will be nothing from SSE in SSB4.'' I just can't find the article.

I don't believe that was ever said. He just said there wouldn't be cutscenes like last time.
