I followed this "Mr Prediction" character, he claims Shulk is to be revealed on or before January 30th, and that Frozen Factory is Sonic's 3DS stage (no word on whether that's the casino or the snow and ice) and that Mega Man's stage on 3DS is a Game Boy iteration of Wily's Castle, black and white with pixel graphics and everything. Also apparently the Pokemon Trainer from Brawl (with Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard) has been rebranded as "Pokemon Master" while the new Pokemon Trainer character carries Greninja, Quilladin and Fennekin. I guess once this week is over, we'll know whether this leak is true. If Shulk comes out of this week on or before the 30th, he may be real. If Shulk isn't shown this week, I think we can safely toss this bunch of info into the Recycle Bin.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, the situation is very different now than it was with Brawl. Brawl was on the Wii which was doing great and didn't need Smash to support it. This new one however is on a system that is frankly failing and I'm sure Nintendo will be much more firm with Sakurai to release it this year.

I'm really enjoying this guy's predictions as well as his answers to numerous people's posts. He is definitely sticking with it.

You don't see what is blatantly wrong with Kalos Trainer? Really? Out of our remaining possible 6-8 (10 if Sakurai actually decides to cut some people) newcomers, they are going to use ANOTHER Pokemon Trainer (half of our newcomers)? Really? FAKE AS HELL.

I wouldn't mind if his roster was correct, though of all the Xenoblade locations he went with Raguel Bridge. No one has ever suggested that as a stage. It is also too similar to Bridge of Eldin from Brawl

It would be pretty cool if Sakurai cut Pokemon Trainer and added Pokemon Master. A character with Greninja, Blaziken, and Charizard. It would never happen. At least Greninja and Blaziken have some backing. Everyone knows that Squirtle and Ivysaur are leeching off of Charizard's life support. Charizard is the only reason people don't think that Pokemon Trainer has a chance to be cut.

If somebody predicts another Pokémon Trainer, I will automatically think they are full of it. That wouldn't make any sense. Too much development time into a character that not too many people want, when we can get 3 different characters from other series that would balance series representation better than giving Pokémon a potential NINE CHARACTERS.

Until Shulk is revealed on the 30th, I'm going to assume the leak is wrong and has no credibility to it.

It would be pretty cool if Sakurai cut Pokemon Trainer and added Pokemon Master. A character with Greninja, Blaziken, and Charizard. It would never happen. At least Greninja and Blaziken have some backing. Everyone knows that Squirtle and Ivysaur are leeching off of Charizard's life support. It would be Blaziken OR Charizard, only because it would probably be all 3 different types. I would say probably Sceptile. But I rather have a Johto rep instead.

I don't think it is, since first he was like "Every character has alt costumes" then when asked about Sonic and Mario and Luigi he then goes "these characters don't have alternate costumes, but their pallet swaps are the same as Brawl"... yeah... kinda contradictory methinks.

Two Pokémon Trainers is whacky, and I highly doubt it'll happen. Combine all this with a whooping 18 newcomers and I highly doubt the leak's legitimacy.

I just looked at his roster and already it was lame, with the dumb character choices I pointlessly see frequently like waluigi and mii. Does this even deserve to be in a rumors and leaks thread?

I still feel like the Mario Party 2 Sherrif Mario costume should be a thing... a thing I will probably never get, but a thing I would totally be OK with and probably go crazier over than Dr Mario.

It's all very entertaining nonetheless. I enjoy thinking about his stage speculation and reasons for potential newcomers.

But I refuse to believe that both Ike and Falco have been cut. Even if it's true, I have the game in my hands and physically cannot select either one of them, I'll still reuse to believe they're not there. And Lucario downgraded to a pokeball? They may as well turn the Ice Climbers and Ganondorf in to Assist trophies while they're at it.

It's fun, and I'll enjoy the game if it's similar to this, but still seems full of poo to me.

Correct. I mean, we got 14 newcomers in Brawl (not counting transformation characters). So to go above what we got in Brawl is already going to be a red-flag. I mean, even including transformation characters, we only got 17. Sakurai stated that the roster is feasible at 39 (40 since Mewtwo was almost done). So a 10 newcomer increase is the equivalent of a 25% increase. 100 divided by 4 is 25, this is going to be the fourth iteration of Smash, so that sounds about right. I think 10 is the magical number and we can shoot for a nice and even roster of 50 characters (transformations included).

So, if we are to receive no cuts from Brawl (despite an objective statement declaring the opposite), we only have 6 more newcomers (Mewtwo is technically already in the roster, so 6 not counting him).

A little bit of wiggle room dictates that we might be able to squeeze out 2 more characters (especially if one is a transformation character, such as Chrom or Dixie if people believe such things).

Okay, so if you read the post from Mr. Prediction it's actually set up like a roster with 10 spaces for width and 5 spaces for height:

There are 48 character on there. The Pokémon icon is for the new Pokémon Trainer with Greninja, Quilladin and Fennekin. Lucario, Ike, Snake and Zero Suit Samus are cut. Sheik is still there but I didn't have a proper icon with both Zelda and Sheik.

You might notice the big gaping hole in between Pac-Man and Random. He jumps straight from Wii Fit Trainer to Bowser, which means there's forced to be a big hole there, which makes no sense at all. Either that or Bowser would be forced to be under Pac-Man, which would still leave a hole in between Mii and Random. The whole setup is just a mess because of this.
