I don't know, everyone thinks its fake, and I am usually incorrect in my assumptions when I do not follow the the bandwagon. So I am going to just purposely speculate the opposite, this **** is real, dawg.

Palutenas pose Looks similar to her "Idol" from Kid Icarus Uprising. But ist not the same i just checked it.
But still im not sure about that. I hope that shes playable but only time will tell...

It's not one picture, it's two pictures that have been put together. In the bottom picture you can even see the lower screen of the 3DS.

It's actually a bit odd, if he wanted to be super convincing he'd have gotten a picture of the bottom screen too. On the other hand, Palutena would get quite smaller to the extend that it wouldn't be very believable either.

Wouldn't the leaker have to essentially "own" a copy of the game in order to take a picture of the 3DS with the game on it (assuming it is real, of course). That would allude to a developer leaking it, in that case, why would he only leak two unconvincing pictures of Palutena. I mean, wouldn't a picture of the roster been sufficient and easier? I don't know, I just said that I would think it is real... so that it would be fake (as I am horrible at guessing), but this scenario seems too unlikely to be real, so I guess I am speculating that it is fake. In that event, it will probably turn out to be real... despite my great efforts.

Well, it could be just them hiding the cards... Because no one's convinced as you can see. But once people start to believe, then 9 times out of 10 we get some more info.

I think, if this is real, it's a playable character leak. Not because I'm blinded by the fact that I want to believe, but the fact that I highly doubt that ATs would have outlines. Think about it. Why would they have outlines? In the heat of battle, that would just cause them to get confused with actual fighters.

She looks like she's smiling a little bit more in the "leak" than she is in any Uprising model I've seen. But, like, just a teensy bit more. It's a really strange, subtle detail to fake, even if you'd go to all the trouble of faking this thing in the first place.

No, stage characters don't have outlines. That much has been proven, I think.

I'm gonna call fake until proven otherwise but, as far as fakes go it's pretty damn well done. I wouldn't mind her being in Smash I've never actually played Uprising but I hear it's a great game so it would be cool to have more than one rep from Kid Icarus in it. I'll be trying all the new reps anyway to find out which ones I like.

I have to also point out that by her NOT being photoshopped with an existing model from some previous game, yet still having quite refined look on her, I can't help but think this truly might be a real deal.

I mean look how pretty she looks. Maybe it's truly behind the current team itself?

This leak has made my brain churn with several thoughts.
1: If this is fake, then it is incredible. The sheer amount of detail that the creator put into it is amazing.
2: I cannot wrap my mind around the thought that she would be an assist trophy. Palutena is a widely popular character, who plays a massive role in the games. I do not know why Sakurai would take her away from being Pit's final smash in order to make her just an assist trophy.

You know the best thing? This being a fake doesn't ultimately hurts Palutena's chances in any way.

Man, I'm completely scratching my head over these Palutena leaked screens. I'd be surprised if this turns out to be true.

I think I'll await for further confirmation down the line to see if this is legitimate.

Wow. That's either a major, major leak, or a really compelling fake. If it's real, I don't know if anything like this has happened before in Smash leaking history...I mean, we've gotten premature reveals of Lucario, Jigglypuff, and Ness in that one Brawl trailer, but otherwise...? Either way, great find.

I haven't gone to GameFAQs yet, but I'd bet some extremity that they're already screaming about how fake it is, like they did with Dedede's initial reveal pic when that happened.

The only thing that bothers me is in the 2nd photo, her right cheek (its on the left when you look at it) has a few pixels that look wrong. Almost like the image was cut in there. Other than that it pretty much looks alright to me. I was also wondering if anyone found it odd that the orb on her staff isn't outlined.

Well the picture is enlarged a lot for a 3DS screen, so it should be rather normal for pixels to be easily shown I guess. That might be the problem.
