Its probably real. Mewtwo is super close to release and something like this happened last year with the roster.

It's from a Brawl Hack called Smash 3.
The lower image is used in the CSS screen fake.
And yes, Yoshi's Island is in the 3DS version.

I remember thinking that it was Mewtwo simply because of how it was aligned and because it had six question marks. xD
But alas, it could have easily been either Robin, Lucina, Shulk, Bowser Jr., Duck Hunt, Dark Pit, or Dr. Mario. All of which, were characters we didn't know were in the game, yet.

Maybe. The only Wii U we have is a family one, so I don't get to play as much as I'd like to.

Incredibly big head and the thighs/legs are too small for his feet. To be fair they were going for Melee Mewtwo (which has those exact same traits) instead of Pokemon Mewtwo. Smash 4 Mewtwo on the other hand is correcting the mistakes Melee Mewtwo had in his model instead of just "going with it".
