Ganondorf and Charizard are SO much better than they were in Brawl. Low tier or no, I destroy all with them.

I got this ****.Mewtwo needs to stay low tier. Let people think he's weak, I mean, then only the true fans can unlock his true potential.
Why do I keep thinking that Nintendo is going to troll us and skip this month? -.-
Hey, I'd be fine with that to.What?! No!! What are people here talking about?! Not low tier again! I want Mewtwo to be top OR at least high up there with Yoshi, Rosalina, Zero Suit Samus and Sonic!
Is it the eggs?God, Yoshi's annoying. I hate even seeing that little **** sometimes.

This.I want him to be top but honestly, I'd prefer mid.
The only problem I'd have with him being top is that everybody would probably spam him just because he's top. They wouldn't main him because they love him or he's their favourite character but more so just to win. That's the way it goes here, everybody only plays either Marth, Fox or Falco and it's rare to see low tiers played. I'm well aware that Mewtwo is bad and low tier but that's what makes him unique. I feel like that will be lost if he's top tier then suddenly everybody's using him because they only want to win. Mewtwo is an amazing character even if he's low tier. People don't bother with him so they don't know his tricks.
I'd like it to be that way again. I hope he's better of course, but I'd be okay if he isn't top.
:'(God, Yoshi's annoying. I hate even seeing that little **** sometimes.
Yeah, agreed. Top tier would mean he would be overused in tourneys and basically everywhere competitive (like the Little Macs online.) I'm hoping his new moveset is as complicated as Shulk's or Robin's and that he's mid tier as well.I want him to be top but honestly, I'd prefer mid.

He just seems really cheap. There are jokes that all you have to do to win with Yoshi is slam your face into the controller. Is it the eggs?
pshh so im the only one who wants him brawl meta-knight?Yeah, agreed. Top tier would mean he would be overused in tourneys and basically everywhere competitive (like the Little Macs online.) I'm hoping his new moveset is as complicated as Shulk's or Robin's and that he's mid tier as well.
I couldn't agree more with this.I don't want to sound elitist or a character hog but I'd like for Mewtwo to belong to the true Mewtwo community (us here on the boards and other Mewtwo enthusiasts instead of players who choose the most useful for winning.)
Yoshi is one of my mains and I can tell you this, there's a huge curve between experienced Yoshi players and not so experienced players. I've had people lose to me, then use Yoshi to show me that he's "easy to use" but when that happens I tend to have no problem beating them. Its the same scenario with Duck Hunt, people think anyone can be good with him and then when they try to prove it only in results they lose badlyHe just seems really cheap. Course, what do I know? I'm not a competitive player.
Again, not a competitive player. All I know is I hate seeing his face in the challenger's panel, cause I know he's just going to spam eggs/dair all match. It is satisfying to utterly destroy Yoshi, though.Yoshi is one of my mains and I can tell you this, there's a huge curve between experienced Yoshi players and not so experienced players. Valid argument but still sticking to my second paragraph. Or they could make him ridiculously powerful that he's banned from tournaments lol (mostly joking.)pshh so im the only one who wants him brawl meta-knight?
remember an entire type of pokemon was invented because of mewtwo and its type!
being stupidly overpowered is in-character. >w<
I hope those stay as well they are perfect.Whether or not Mewtwo's high or low tier, I pray to Arceus they don't change his up or back throw...
^-^I couldn't agree more with this.
Hmm. Even so, I don't really think creating a character and with different specials will take as long as 5 months. This theory is plausible, but I don't think it's only this. I'm sure there's also some extra content as well, such as stages and the like. Perhaps some balance updates? I'm really hoping for some more characters (although I can't see it happening).By the way going to mention this.
Some people have theories on why mewtwo is taking so long/hard to believe 1 character will take this long.
My theory is his/her specials may get the same treatment as palutena and miis. (completely different specials not alternate versions of them)
Let's not for get the tournament mode, Miiverse Stage, and replay/image/custom stage sharing we were promised.Hmm. ^ThisThey did have to make him from scratch (since they couldn't import his Melee data) and he was apparently too much trouble to put in Brawl (yeah they were busy with SSE but why cut Mewtwo over another veteran?) so 5-6 months doesn't seem too long. Part of me is hoping there's a stage or two included with him but that's kind of a long shot.
i agree! apparently dk (donkey kong) is bottom tier. i still like him... oddly.I personally don't give a single **** whether Mewtwo is Top tier or Bottom Tier.
Its FREAKING MEWTWO!
I wanna BE him XD![]()
Fellow Mewtwo fan who also likes DK! DK is freakin' awesome.i agree! apparently dk (donkey kong) is bottom tier. i still like him... oddly.
A competitive doubles team made up of Mewtwo and Pichu? They are my heroes!Among the few things I want Mewtwo too keep from Melee, this is one thing I want Mewtwo too keep in Smash 4:
lol

I'm always shocked by how seriously people take these things.I took it as a personal matter because he was basically trying to tell me "now I'm going to show you how to play Mario".
Ugh, I hate people like that. I've had my share of trash talkers and obnoxious idiots that think they're the best at the game.I don't mind if Mewtwo gets some buffs, but even if he considered lower tier in Melee it's also up to the player if he can win or not. It didn't stop me from kicking the ***** of some Falcos, Foxes, Cp. Falcon, etc. back in the day (though not enough to win me any tourneys, sadly).
Speaking of something else, I consider myself a respectful smash player to the point that I don't like shaming my opponent when they lose. Trash talk banter with close friends and siblings is ok though. However, what really pushes my buttons is when a random stranger on the internet tries to mirror match me to show off as being superior.
I fought this guy in For Glory last night, he was Fox and I was Mario. I lost the first match due to some stupid mistakes I made (recovering too low, using Up B in the wrong direction). On the next match, the little runt picked Mario as well even with the same color scheme as me, it was by chance that I decided to change the colors back to default. I took it as a personal matter because he was basically trying to tell me "now I'm going to show you how to play Mario". I bowed to not lose that match and managed to two stock him in the end without losing a life, in this kind of situation I'm going all out and you will see me taunt a lot to mock my opponent. I made use of everything in Mario's arsenal while the guy was just being a tryhard whose battle plan consisted simply of dashing towards me and trying to grab me. Because of that he didn't last long. In his last stock, I hit him with my Fsmash and did a side taunt; he wasn't going to make it back but just to add insult to the injury I went off stage and caped him, then went back and did an Up taunt. After that, I saved the replay and left the room to deny him any chance of revenge. I basically schooled him with my Mario in a "and that's how you play Mario" fashion.
Like I said, I'm not that kind of guy who likes to brag but there are people out who need to be taught some humility.
