in that case, I choose to cut Ike for Roy, Lucina for Lyn.

All of my no. Don't get me wrong, Lyn would be a nice addition (if she weren't an AT) don't get me wrong, but not if she replaced Lucina.
Don't mind it. I simply ignore it. Nothing to really see there.

Knuckles: Would prefer Shadow, but he's an assist trophy, so Knuckles is next in line for Sonic characters. Of all the third party series, Sonic is probably the most deserving of having multiple characters in Smash since the series is so popular and has such a large array of interesting and unique characters to choose from. I don't think I'm being too biased with that opinion either, but I could be wrong about that. Anyway, as a character known for his fists, Knuckles would fit right home in a fighting game and his gliding and digging abilities would separate him from other characters. Tails would be cool too and probably more likely for a slot.I have a question, who do you lot want to see become newcomers? 5 characters I'd like
Bandana Dee: To represent the modern Kirby games, that nifty spear is also unique
Ridley: Best villain IMO and Metroid best franchise, Sakurai's excuse was poor. "I want to be accurate" Then you don't make him help out or say small wings are a problem
K.Rool one of Nintendo's greater villains, DK is easily the worst represented franchise, not even an AT...He's also good stupidly fun potential
Isaac: Loved Golden Sun and think this guy should definitely represent the franchise in Smash
Takamaru: "not popular enough" RETRO REPS DON'T HAVE TO BE POPULAR! This guy has a sword, invisibility, projectiles, is a Samurai, what's not to like?
That would be an epic stage.
I find that a tad ironic when you mention Ridley who's a (****) stage element and Assist Trophies (Little Mac) can get promoted to playable status.
Cutting Ike for Roy is a choice that I personally completely agree with, but I realize that Roy isn't that popular among FE fans, and he's also a clone, whereas Ike is an original character. So, with the entire fanbase in mind, I would have to decline if I was given that chance.
If you saw the leak for Lyn on PM, you can see that she has a lot of potential.

I wouldn't say there's no more interesting characters so much as there's no more prominent, important and interesting characters to choose from.
/-come on who dosn't want him-a fun charcter one of my favorite pokemon not higher becuse of the "many" pokemon and kinda took his spot but still cool though moves in fact they would even need to make amiibo for them becuse they already have one needs more reps and king k rool would be a perfect fit with popularity and a cool moveset it would be great to see him in a new game

Kirby has been underrepresented though, Brawl gave two highly requested characters. Especially modern Kirby lacks representation, a few trophies, 3 songs...That's it
3 characters is enough for that series. Only the big series (Mario, Pokemon, Zelda) should have more than 3 IMO.

I did forget that Ridley was a stage hazard. I only have the 3DS version, so I tend to forget sometimes. My post was made in light of Smash 4 DLC, so that's why I discounted assist trophies in my list. Would love to have Shadow or Waluigi in Smash 5, but it won't happen for DLC unless Sakurai removes their assist trophies from the game.

I've never cared about anything Starfox related other than Wolf, his theme and the Brawl Corneria track
they could always just remove the use of that assist trophy in the game when that charcter is battleing
Yeah, Nintendo's big three are really just Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon. Kirby and Metroid are nowhere near the size of those three.

Uh, Bandana Dee is a relevant character and Kirby games are very popular
