Why do I get the feeling my mains for the fighting games I play the most will include DLC/Bonus characters?

Wait a minute.Ugh... I'm going to be working the three days (including) the day Mewtwo's out. Not looking forward to that :/
In anticipation, here's a quick video I made based on the trailer showing his Melee move-sets in comparison, along with a few other clips.

The melee mewtwos down air looks the same hit speed as sm4sh.
That worrys me a hair but i still know mewtwo got as much buff sonic did.
(But really i still think smash 4s mewtwo down air will be more accurate and faster.)

The sad part about Other M is that it looks really fun gameplay-wise: The classic sidescroller mixed with the First person from the Prime series. Too bad the plot is ****ing stupid

Most of the gameplay is fun. Switching to first person and back to third person is tedious and the search segments were poorly done. Green blood on Green Grass. Whoever thought of that should get fired.

Not to mention Sakamoto is scared to death by nunchuks...
Other M did one thing right: Ridley, the only time the game showed us his intelligence instead of saying it. Now if only they made him talk...

I'd argue Prime 3 did it well with him hiding above where Samus needed to go before attacking and even putting his claws against the walls to slow his descent.
Prime 1 did it by blowing up her access to the Metroid Prime but Samus beat him which meant a new path was opened.

I meant that they focused on that for Ridley in Other M other than everything else in the game

I agree that the games should show Ridley talking. I'm really glad that Other M showed off Ridley's high intellect to an extent, as did the Prime 1 and 3, although to a lesser extent. Still, I feel like too many people think Ridley is a mindless monster who thinks only of killing. He really is an intelligent being, and, as the Metroid manga shows, he's fully capable of speech and advanced forms of thought, like formulating plans and coming up with strategies. Also, weren't Mecha Ridley and, by extension, the Meta Ridley armor built by Ridley himself? That in and of itself is a feat of great intelligence and engineering.
I'd say Ridley is far more intelligent than most people like to think and than the games tend to let on.

Yea even if you explain why sakurai is wrong about ridley, his still not getting in smash 4.
(Which saddeneds me)
And as for wolf yea thats why i went back and vote for king k rool next for the votes
(Hopefully they use the king k rool vote and not the wolf one i sent.)

Meta Ridley wasn't armour but Ridley being rebuilt as a cyborg and you mean Prime 3
Ridley has 0.5% chance imo, Wolf is guaranteed, K.Rool and Isaac are highly likely though

Oops. Yeah, I meant Prime 3. My apologies. I also apologize for using the word "armor" when describing Meta Ridley. I know Meta Ridley is a cyborg, but I used "armor" for lack of a better word to describe the metallic parts of him. Perhaps "cybernetic components" would have been a better term than "armor".

As a matter of fact im 85% sure king k rool is going to win the ballot.
1# 50/50 of the world knows ridley still fails even if you try to proove sakurai wrong in ridley votes.
2# according some infomation king k rool is the most wanted newcomer in japan.
3# mutiple votes can happen (however they will throw away the joke/never getting in votes) king k rool is easily neither one of those.
4# king k rool is in the top 10 most wanted characters for smash bros series
5# hes not too big
(sorry ridley fans) (but seriously king k rool is just a hair taller than and so can be shrunken down just like the other big characters in.)

Well, I mean, K. Rool does have a hatebase. They typically claim that his design is uninteresting, he has no move set potential, and that he's irrelevant and Nintendo hates him now. But, you're right, Ridley's is much, much larger.
However, I don't think hatebases will influence the ballot at all. You can't really send in an "anti-vote" for a character, so there's nothing that Ridley's or K. Rool's hatebases can do to prevent their inclusion. So, ultimately, it comes down to who has the larger fanbase, and I'm fairly certain that goes to Ridley. However, like Smashoperatingbuddy123 said, a portion of Ridley's fanbase is going to vote for somebody else because he's a stage boss, so they view his inclusion as unlikely. I don't really know what to think at this point. Ridley or K. Rool one is going to come out on top, definitely, but I'm not sure which one...
