If any of you want to see a different take on Zelda II, those of you with a Switch Online subscription can make a Japanese account and try the Famicom version of the game (the Switch is region-free, so you won't have to pay any extra).
Lots of things were changed in the western release for the game, so seeing how the original Japanese version did things is cool, like the experience system (you can look up the details) and how Tektites no longer need the fire spell to be hurt, among other adjustments. Every temple in the game is gray, though, whereas in the western version they all got unique color palettes. Just keep a guide handy since you probably won't be able to read the hints NPCs give you. Also the song for basic fights on the overworld is different, you may recognize it as it got a remix as the miniboss theme in The Minish Cap.
