his overtly friendly play style typically looks a lot like buddy-ing to me, under a mask of either genuine conversation or trying to create genuine conversation.

I've played mafia...too long to be this bad at it. I don't think I ever quite caught the flow of forum mafia. IRL mafia ruined me.

How long for forum mafia? I've always found it vastly superior to irl mafia can't relate.

If that's all they focus on, yes. If they do try to progress town, then it can be reconsidered. Your slot was voting Osieorb as policy. So it wasn't helpful to town, but it also wouldn't be helpeful to mafia. After Osie's long haiku post, Lore (your slot) gave a snarky reply and kept their push going, which would be hurtful to a mafia win condition. Also since I have played with Lore before, I can genuinely see them believing the push, as they are one to push for policy.

Just seemed he was talking to a lot of people, being very friendly and welcoming, which seems par for the course in some regard, at least in the few games I’ve played with him. Very active, but I never quite follow what he’s doing. “All over the place” was probably a wrong thing to say, I didn’t mean to imply he was aggressive to some and nice to others, I think Raxxel said he found UP scattered, and that’s probably a better way of wording it. I still don’t see much coming from all of the interactions he has had, but maybe I’m wrong.

I feel I know lore pretty well in game. I think he started playing in 2009? Xivii was always harder for me to read. Which is why even though I think xivii is asking good questions, I don’t think that’s enough for me to give him a town lean, as his bucking against lore in the beginning could be super manipulative if lore is town.

Z voted Lore a little over 24 hours (and confirmed that it was self-preservation within 72 hours) in a 5-day phase. This is much different than the situation you're in where you're replacing in to being wagoned and haven't yet had the chance to fully catch up.

Pretty much none on the first question, which answers the second and third to a degree. The third question I can get into more detail on (mostly if not entirely positive), but I'd rather save it for post-game since it's not particularly alignment-related. As for my read on them, I find them relatively townie with a few tinfoils of potential scum worlds.
