How much do you actually think whilst playing as Sonic?
Does it vary based off of match ups?


I know that for me, unless I'm fighting Marth, Metaknight, or Wario, I don't think much at all.

But against those three ever move is carefully planned.

Funny, I think non-stop. Like, every move with Sonic is carefully planned and has a purpose. Even my "mistakes" are frequently calculated, and have purpose.

Then I get burnt out and start auto-piloting, and then the game gets really boring because I'm drained.

Why can't this game have auto-pilot combos?

Oh, right, that's why I picked up D3. Maybe I'll play Falco instead. Guy is tight.

But the only character that make me think excessively, thus leading to my downfall, is Oli, although I have been faring much better as of late. I still think meta is not a bad matchup.

I hate playing as Sonic, then playing Melee.
I'm stuck in a Sonic mindset.

Alot of times I find myself Illusioning before my jump, or firebirding up for the u-air kill.

vs. ROB, Dash>Side-B Shield Cancel>ROB Shields>Grab> Uthrow>Spring>Uair Star K.O. right before ROB's Spike. The explosion came out and everything but my disjointed hitbox saved me.
