Honestly, despite her mental trauma, I think it's still healthy that she does. She wasn't entirely at fault for all that happened, but she wasn't entirely innocent, either. I can say the same about myself for some certain mistakes I've made...if anything, her guilt is ign of her capacity to change for the better. Not that she already hasn't, but for a both full redemption and mental recovery to take place...she has to remember her past, and then face it.
