When Hicks notes they still need a way to keep the aliens out altogether, she points out the damaged barricades on the map and states they'll rebuild them, and finally, adds that they can wield steel plates on three separate vents, effectively shutting the aliens out of the colony-

-Hicks is impressed by her planning ability and can't help but get the biggest, goofiest grin on his face, and jokes that now all they need is a deck of cards, presumably to pass the time, after which the whole group agrees to get to work. Several marines say "affirmative", and Newt, being a child and all, does the same, sounding a bit more cheerful than usual-
