-Ripley expresses outrage that Burke never mentioned anything about there being an android aboard the ship, to which Bishop calmly states her prefers the term "artificial person" himself and to which Burke claims that he didn't think it was a big deal since it's usually standard protocol to have an android aboard military ships. When Bishop himself questions what the matter is, Burke seems to realize that he forgot about Ripley's ordeal with Ash and states that on her last mission, an android malfunctioned, and although Ripley scoffs at the idea that Ash "malfunctioned", Burke nonetheless admits that there were some deaths involved-

-Bishop seems to be legitimately shocked and even outright admits as such, asking if the android in question was an older model. When Ripley confirms what kind of model Ash was, Bishop states that this explains it as Ash's model was always very twitchy, something Ripley also scoffs at given everything Ash tried to do, through orders or otherwise, but Bishop insists that they've fixed such issues as modern models like him are programmed to never, either directly or by ommission of action, harm another human being. Ripley still doesn't believe him, and while he tries to politely offer her some food, Ripley responds by violently smacking the tray of food out of his hands, surprising even the marines at the other table, before coldly telling Bishop to just stay away from her, prompting him to leave the table without a word. With the marines not overheard the entire conversation, one of them can only joke that she must not like the food here, either-

I can get that. Didn't really overwork myself, but watching Pap here gradually become a total badass over the course of his training was awesome.

When Bishop himself questions what the matter is, Burke seems to realize that he forgot about Ripley's ordeal with Ash and states that on her last mission, an android malfunctioned, and although Ripley scoffs at the idea that Ash "malfunctioned", Burke nonetheless admits that there were some deaths involved-

-Bishop seems to be legitimately shocked and even outright admits as such, asking if the android in question was an older model. When Ripley confirms what kind of model Ash was, Bishop states that this explains it as Ash's model was always very twitchy, something Ripley also scoffs at given everything Ash tried to do, through orders or otherwise, but Bishop insists that they've fixed such issues as modern models like him are programmed to never, either directly or by ommission of action, harm another human being. Ripley still doesn't believe him, and while he tries to politely offer her some food, Ripley responds by violently smacking the tray of food out of his hands, surprising even the marines at the other table, before coldly telling Bishop to just stay away from her, prompting him to leave the table without a word. With the marines not overheard the entire conversation, one of them can only joke that she must not like the food here, either-

Most are in disbelief that such a lifeform could exist, let alone from Ripley, being untrained to give this kind of briefing, largely explaining it off-hand in a ramble. Vasquez, at least, seems confident that if it's a real creature, that she can handle it telling her "I only need to know one thing: where they are" while making a gun gesture. Ripley's response? That she hopes Vasquez is right. She really does-
