Frederica tells them to be safe, and look out for the Garfiel she mentioned. Petra then nervously asked Subaru to accept a handkerchief she had-

-Frederica mentions it's a tradition of sorts to hand handkerchiefs to travelers, a sort of prayer for their return, which Subaru founds cute, so he allowed Petra to tie it around his wrist... Then due to her cursh on him nervously she ran to behind Frederica, with Subaru joking she's in her rebellious phase, Frederica chuckles and told them to go, as the forest becomes more dangerous the more late it is, so there they go, Petra waving at Subaru with a handkerchief on her wrist too. Frederica pulled out the letter Roswaal left, saying that she's done as he's told her to do, so all they have left is to pray...-

Subaru then remembered the promise Puck made him do, and wonders if it had anything to do with it... But she says to not worry, she still is contracted to many minor spirits, so she can still protect him, he calls her his knight in shining armor-

-They then remember Frederica told them to be wary of this Garfiel, wondering why... It was then though that Otto told them they're getting close to their destination, they remember that Frederica told them this was a lost forest protected by a barrier were people tend to disappear, earning the nickname of Lost Woods. Subaru sees Emilia shakes a bit and asks how nervous she is, she asked how he knew, he says because he knows everything about her... Well, he'd like to say that, in reality anyone can pick it up, now she's a little embarrassed-

-She apologizes, telling him that soon they'll be at a village of demi-humans, he wonders if there might be other half-elves like he there, she replies that honestly, she has never seen other half-elves... Ever. But who knows... However, before they can keep talking, the jewel Frederica gave to Emilia started to glow-

-They didn't know what it meant, but didn't like it, so Subaru takes it off her and was about to throw it off the window... But for some reason, Emilia then fainted, and before Subaru could see why, he was engulfed in light by the jewel and found himself standing in the middle of a forest-

-She called him fascinating as he stood in front of her like if it was normal, he says "oh you think you're s pretty huh ? but I see the prettiest girl in the world everyday!" she jokingly says "nah, it's just that most people vomit when looking at me, it's amusing. Getting to the point, he demands to know why why he brought him here, but she says she didn't, he walked here willingly, but does he want to go off? After all he's having the chance to converse with the Witch of Greed, not many can do that-
