Aultcray was not even meant to the one ruling, in fact she left a noble she trusted in charge, but Melty says that he was killed in the first wave. It was the noble owner of the region Raphtalia lived in. Naofumi remarks Melty looks more classy than usual, she embarrassingly says that of course, she's in front of Her Majesty, Mirellia giggled and mentioned she was glad she's made friends-

-Still he asks why the Shield Hero was treated like crap, Mirellia confesses Aultcray had personal reasons already to dislike the Shield Hero, even if he wasn't the one he felt bitter towards, the Shield Hero was bad in his eyes. The Church of the Three Heroes took advantage to manipulate him, and Malty conspired with them. Naofumi thinks he should have been summoned by another country then, Mirellia agrees, moreso thinking of Silvelt as the demi-human country worships the Shield Hero. She says she won't stop him from going there, but first she wants to clean his name and give the rewards he long deserved-

Ren said that it seems his overpowered shield didn't take that much of a toll on him, Naofumi said that inside he remains a wreck, Motoyasu asked if he has seen Malty, Itsuki thinking she might be preparing something for them, when they're finally called to audience. Melty is with Mirellia, and the Queen greets them, then tells the knights to bring in the prisoners inside for their trial, and they're surprised to see Aultcray and Malty in chains, the latter begging to Motoyasu for help-

-The crowd outside is perplexed at this, though Erhard amongst them thinks this'll be interesting. Of course Aultcray demands to know the cause of this, she says this is a trial made on those that disrupted peace in the country, and in presence of the Cardinal Heroes, she'll be judge. Aultcray says that the Devil of the Shield must have brainwashed her, she freezed him temporarily and told him to stop with the farse, he knows the Shield has no such power. To the shock of everyone, she has the two of them be given slave crests for the trial, Motoyasu asks how can she do that to her own daughter-

-She does it because she knows she's a pathological liar. Malty is given a crest, and she screamed of pain during the process. After that the trial begins, but she warns them they have no way out of this, Motoyasu demands to know what crimes they've committed still trying to defend Malty to Naofumi's tirement. She starts retelling recent events, specifically of the Pope's recent attack and how right now they are imprisoning those cultists, Motoyasu asks what does it has to do with this, she says apparently the two were conspiring with them before-

Motoyasu is in disbelief, Mirellia says "well Spear Hero, why don't you ask her yourself?" and he agrees to make a temporary slave pact to prove her innocence, so he asked her... The crowd outside were apalled by Malty doing such actions, Naofumi narrates that this went for a while, yet somehow he didn't feel better, mybe because he knew what was next...-
