Some dumb roleplay thread, I guess (Warning, it's not dumb)

Will watch the new RWBY episode soon. I wanted to save it for a bit later this week now that another one of my favorite shows just ended. All the more reason for me to start my binge of Avatar, too...

The DuckTales series finale was absolutely insane... I really wish it wasn't the end, but oh my God, did the writers deliver a satisfying send-off to it. I'm happy with the final stories it had to tell, and that it ended on a high note.

Please watch this show. It's worth the time investment, imo. It's the best ever reboot of an animated show and then some.

-As they walk down, Raphtalia has brief flashbacks. First she remembers that her parents once told her to smile always, even on bad times, that will eventually help her and those around her. The young Raphtalia promised to her parents grave that she won't cry anymore. In soon she gathered all survivors in the middle of the town, and gave a motivational speech about how they still are here, and how they can rebuild the village, and she's backed up by Keel and Rifana. Despite their young age, the adults think they're right, and rebuilding starts-

-As she and her friends help, a worried Keel asks Raphtalia if she's okay, she's lost her parents so he understands if she needs time, She still forces herself to smile and says it's fine, so Rifana tries to support her. Soon knights would arrive, the villagers glad thinking it's help from the capital... Alas, it's the knights that enslaved and killed some of them. Raphtalia and other demi-human kids were forced into a carriage, while Rifana is there, she's separated from Keel who tried to reach her, and she and Rifana were brought to Rabier's home-

-Back to the present, Raphtalia for a moment saw her cell, and Naofumi could guess what happened here, him and the others feeling disgusted. Raphtalia remembers Rabier used to come here at nights, hang her from the wrists and then use his whip on her, he wanted her to cry in his sadistic nature, but she refused to not smile. Poor Rifana, however, was also tortured and didn't fare as well-

I would've contiuied on the same path beside them, but The Grimm had us outnumbered... I had to buy them some some time...

One night they were thrown in the same cell, of course the poor conditions made Rifana ill. Raphtalia tried to give her some soup, alas, she was too weak to eat on her own. She held Raphtalia's hnd, saying she misses the flag at her village, as it was a gift from Lord Seatto that they were independent and were safe, Raphtalia says she'll see the flag again. In fact, she made a makeshift flag out of some hay and a patch of her ragged clothes, Rifana was happy at being cheered up-

-Next morning though, a knight went to their cell, and Raphtalia tried to wake Rifana up, but she was motionless. She was dragged to a carriage, since Rabier got bored of her, he's selling her, she asks what about Rifana, the kniht mockingly says that she's done for, so she should forget about her-

-She just couldn't stand it anymore, unable to smile... It would be soon after that she was being sold by the slave trader to Naofumi-

-Wondering what he's doing, Reichnott is alarmed, explaining that ages back, past versions of the Four Heroes sealed a horrible monster under that monument, and sure fissures show themselves off the ground, being too late to stop Rabier as he prays to undo the seal, liberating the monster: A tyrannosaurus-like demon that is in a blind rampage-

-Rabier laugh maniacally, rambling about how killing the Devil of the Shield will make him blessed by God forever... Right before the monster stomped and crushed him, ending his life in a twist of irony, and it roars to the party's horror, as the episode ends in that cliffhanger-

First of all, I totally called him surviving.

Peridot: But the part about another meeting with him having an effect on Raphtalia's morality was inaccurate.

...Fine, that's fair... But second of all, he freaking deserved that brutal and ronic death. And third, HYPE GIANT BATTLE HELL YEAH!

"Toffee glared at his gaping chest wound... Before it easilyand fully healed up like it was nothing. Only the damage to his suit remained."

"Marco looked on in disbelief... Before Toffee punched him in the gut to incapacitate him, then grabbed him by the shoulders and threw him HARD at a boulder."

"Marco landed back first, then fell to the ground, unconscoous, prompting Buff Frog to run towards him out of concern. The teen will be lucky if he wasn't left with a concussion."
