Don't give in. Debaters are gonna debate. Show them you don't give a damn by still using xD. Use grammar (as much as you can) by habit. It's the only thing that separates us from the animals.

On a different topic- How do I go about being less narcissistic? I know I've always been, but I think it's getting more intense. To the point were I'm noticing it in how I talk and things I do. Trying to consciously tune in down a bit. Mostly for egoistic things, like my public opinion and how it makes me look haha. No, but seriously- Any tips?

Tank - As I said with aa, xD is good for looking like a simpleton/foreigner and as such can make you look like you don't know crap. However, if you make good points and use it they get mad as hell because there's nothing they can do and looks like they're getting trashed by some scrub. I just use it because I like it xDDD.

I feel you bro, until about a year ago I walked around with a giant ego and a superiority complex that wasn't really earned. Something in me just clicked that I have no reason to act better than anyone else and man oh man did that change my life. I got on better with absolutely everyone and became 10x more charismatic because of it.

Goddamn I was meant to not use grammar and everything, but I've already finished typing and I am NOT going back to edit things out. This is a hard habit to break.
