Nice tease. You're like those people on Facebook that post cryptic statuses like "in the hospital", "FML", "having the worst day ever" without any explanation so that a bunch of people reply with "OMG are u OK?????" and "What happeneddd???"
Cool overreaction bro. What his near-death experience actually was is irrelevant to this discussion, so there's no need to go into it.

That really doesn't work. Like, I could say that I hate it when falcons grab too much and then ***** at the first person who eh'd at me and call them predictable, but it doesn't work like that.
Not sure why I didn't understand what you were saying the first time I read this. Anyways, I'm sure you would agree with me that the response was predictable, right? I wouldn't point it out/think it was funny if it was just once in a while, but you're the one who ALWAYS posts what I expect someone to say.

BTW ballin', can a straight integer be a polynomial? I thought polynomials had to have variables in them somewhere (and x^0 doesn't work 'cause you can only use non-negative integer exponents)?

0 is non-negative.

Form of polynomials is:

f(x) = a0*x^0+a1*x^1+....+an*x^n

So yea, f(x) = 2*x^0 = 2 works, that was a silly hw question why would anyone answer any other way lol.

Er, doesn't a polynomial need two or more terms, though? f(x) = 2 would be a monomial.
A constant function is technically a polynomial. A monomial is just a type of polynomial.

Just in case though I also put f(x) = 2 + (x-0)(x-1)(x-2)(x-3)(x-4)...(x-100)

0 is non-negative.

f(x) = a0*x^0+a1*x^1+....+an*x^n

Well the first two parts of the problem were about the polynomials n^2+n+41 (which gives primes for n= 0 ... 40) and n^2-81n+1681 (which gives primes for n= 1 ... 80), so one might think that you have to find something similar.

here is a quick easy math riddle:

prove or disprove: every even number that is greater than 2 can be written as the sum of 2 different primal number.

The only prime numbers less than 6 are 2, 3 and 5. Exhausting possible sums of 2, 3, and 5 we see:

2+3 = 5
2+5 = 7
3+5 = 8

Thus no two different prime numbers sum up to 6. Disproved, owned. Unless you are counting the negative numbers... in which case I ain't doin that.

does anybody know anything about fluid dynamics
I'm an aerospace engineering major and gonna graduate in spring, so yea I've had my share of fluids.

5+1 = 6
man, think harder.

(might have had to say 1 is considered a prime number).

yea but normally its not... http://mathworld.wolfram.com/PrimeNumber.html
Quote from the link:
"Why is the number 1 made an exception? This is a problem that schoolboys often argue about, but since it is a question of definition, it is not arguable."

But yea if 1 is considered prime then maybe its true, but I don't like proofs i just like disproving by counterexample lol so I'm not touchin it.

Lol @ "quick easy math riddle". This problem has remained unsolved for two and a half centuries.

actually i wrote it wrong, and it is sum of 2 primes, it can be the same prime, so it does not need 1, 3+3=6.
the one i said might be wrong, too lazy to think about it.

Aptitude tests suck massive ****.

Like, in terms of girth and length, possibly the most massive **** ever recorded is sucked by all aptitude tests ever.

They're seriously the worst thing. Not even remotely helpful to anyone ever. They don't even seem like they would be. There's just no excuse for society accepting them as a thing.

Pretty close, actually; the only two jobs recommended when I last took an aptitude test were "PR Rep" and "Hair stylist."

Seriously, though, can we stop pretending that those are remotely useful? They obviously aren't, for anyone. How the **** could a test that transparently shallow know more about you than you? How could it know ANYTHING about you?

You and I should open a combination black-people-barber-shop/exotic florist's/smash bros. den in Adelaide.

Like, you go in there to get Giant African Sundews for your mom's birthday, but you realize that you're getting a bit nappy so you sit down to play some falcon dittos with your mate in the next chair as the legendary battlecow trims your 'fro.

's where you could edit your post with something you forgot or correct grammar in the first, like, minute and then it wouldn't show up as a "last edited by..."

But Smashboards also stopped logging me out every five freaking minutes, so I'm actually not mad at them.

ruins a lot of perfectly good posts

especially one liners

also people like to appear uncaring, and showing edits is detrimental to that pursuit of aloofness

also, you don't have to go into the "go advanced" thing to edit. That's what I thought everyone was mad at lol, but yea, no beauty marks on my perfectly good one liner. It's not so clever then...
