Dont care much for VG OSTs. The only ones ive listened to are Bomberman Hero, Tetrisphere, and American McGee's Alice(which I havent even played).

Tetrisphere is pretty tight, Neil Voss is pretty boss plus he reminded me of Aphex Twin at times.

yeah it was shut down month of release a year or two ago. i think the creators claimed to be working on it for 5+ years. anyways i messed around with it a little and it seems to be legit. only thing that might bring it down is polish. the enemies and bosses in the alpha were waaay too strong which is why i quit a couple of hours in. almost felt like a hard mode. hopefully this version is a bit better in terms of "difficulty".

Final Fantasy Tactics is one of my all-time favorite games, so I was super psyched when I discovered FFHacktics, but the main completed mod is in super-hardcore almost-impossible-without-spending-hours-making-characters-perfect mode, and really not much fun at all.

I really hope more mods are made. I loveeee playing games that give me a nostalgic feeling, and mods can be super helpful in enhancing that experience.

But yeah, I'll try to make time to check this out.

well the dude who leaked it said its the 98% beta though he said it might actually be a later build. it appears to be different than the 98% beta that was played through on youtube because it doesnt give you any time to choose a scene in scene selection. it goes almost straight to the beginning scene after the intro.

I think I played Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis. I liked it, but I never finished it. I should try picking it up again.

I enjoyed FFT:A, but it definitely didn't have close to the brilliance of the original. We seem to be in the minority with that sentiment though.

can't understand that, how is betrayals, kidnappings, and wartime politics (and some monsters, unfortunately) be worse than kids fighting in snow ball fights, and that stupid rules system.

im with you guys there. i dont really like the job system in that game either. 30-50 jp per battle is just too low.

and the moogles were ****ing hideous.

I think a lot of people got frustrated with the length of the battles in the original.

Ahhh, good memories with Elmdor and his coveted Masamune + Genji equipment...

damn had to keep him alive forever so i could steal all of that.
i think there was a big problem with one of the bosses, forgot his name, when you entered the castle, and it was a two part battle and he turned to a monster on the second part.
it was pretty steep increase in difficulty and i remember reading about a lot of people not saving beforehand and the game autosaves at the start of the battle, then they can just not beat it and have to throw away the save.
