Online Poker for me is love/hate. It's good because half the people on there are mentally ******** so for the most part they're easy to knock-out and you can get to the bubble no problem. But hate because you can't see the opposition in person and so obviously can't see their body language.

Still fun though and can make some easy cash if you know what you're doing.

BBV is a forum on 2+2 which is a poker site (and book publisher).

I don't really play poker anymore (too busy with school) so I only read/post in SE, OOT and Student Life. Sometimes I'll read some of the other off topic forums if I'm bored.

Yeah I agree. Its a cooler feeling to play at a casino or live. But online is more productive since you can play with multiple tables. So both works great in different ways.

introduction

hi i've been for the most part an alias player that has been playing since the early emularena grounds days (but not sonic cage dome early) so that's quite a few years and i've decided to not be an alias player anymore. i'm sticking to this name so you should see me more often at The Galaxy.

i want to make it clear that i'm not trying to impersonate superboomfan or in a way mock superboomfan with this name. i just thought it was a neat twist to his tag and i kind of like it. then again, who remembers superthalliumfan? i'm just throwing that out there since the last time i tried to join a teams game hosted by malva00 w/ superboomfan in there, i got kicked.

either way, sup. :)

P.S. i'm not much of a forum person

Yeah! I think it's a cool name too.
Moreover, now it's like I create an account named ~Peek~ and say "It has nothing to do with your nickname (Peek~)... *-)

I've been driving to a strange mix of cds lately (yes I still have/use cds):

Michael Jackson (The essential MJ)
Billy Talent (II)
Janelle Monae (ArchAndroid)
It's Alive (Human Resources)
Jimmy Reed (Mixed CD)
The Used (the used)
Bowie (Best of Bowie)

i should get into console, i'm getting tons better on console compared to online, and yes, there is a difference.

Have you tried changing the router?

Also, have you checked if you have a lightning protection device to the telephone cable? It slows down a lot the internet speed.

I get a 100+ FPS connection every time I go into Galaxy or any other server, (the lowest has been 94, just once though)
that's why I don't Play online. :(

Jake is definitely dropping Yoshi
That picture took me completely off guard... someone just posted that like a few hours ago in a tourney thread:

http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=292293&page=24 (post # 352)

Not that it really matters... but... having just seen it used in a joke, then seeing it used in a completely different joke, and both completely unrelated, and having never seen that picture beforehand... lol too good, and too creepy :p

The smash tournament I hosted alongside melee and brawl was a massive success.
A lot more people had an interest in 64 than I thought and it was such a success I'll be allowed to run it alongside future melee and brawl tournaments!

because i was bored witless and pestered people until i had finished all my matches quickly

most other participants had barwl/melee as their main course and 64 as the side dish
