If anything though I'm along with probably many others more concerned the effects of what the coronavirus is doing to the economy as well as potential violent mobs and riots. That's what I think we should be more concerned about.

You get 100$ every time you blink

but

You can only step on large insects with your bare feet

Do you accept?
I tend to prefer to smack insects with a broom at a safe distance so I don't really know if that second part would affect me anyway lol

I 100% agree with you on it.

I'm really curious about the political ramifications if it gets worse globally. Like could this play a factor in Iran with some of its members dying or what the international stage? Could people start playing the blame game?

Could go into a lengthy discussion about it with you.

I apologize didn't mean to have you feel that way...:(
Oh no no no, it's not your fault. I already felt that way. It's pretty stressful for me having to hear negative stuff after another, and it's not only about the coronavirus. But that's the world we live in.

Ah okay good to know then. For a minute I thought it was because of what I posted.

YouTube recommended a video about how a dude sold his rat furry porn back in the 90's.
I saw that too lmao. NGL, it was funny watching the announcers slowely realising what was going on and holding their laughter in.

It's still in my history, but ya know can't really post it here... not that I would want to.

Nah, I mean, the idea itself is absurd, that's for sure. But it's not the only thing going around that just makes me feel overwhelmed. I know it is good to be informed, but sometimes, it does more bad than good, at least to me, that I already live in an already dangerous country and is neighbor to another one that is also dangerous. But what can we do? Only God knows.

Jesus christ, no wonder why I sometimes lose my faith for humanity.
I was on the verge of a great insight from reading your post. I've lost faith in most people it seems.

Man I really wish that we were in a future in humans aren't a **** to most others and were raised with common sense sometimes.

Also you're location is B.C so I'm thinking British Columbia but you said it's dangerous so somewhere else I'm thinking.

You know some acceptable clone characters they could add in MKT that people might like?

How about Shadow Mario, Gooigi, Shadow Queen Peach (I can dream), Mr. L (I can also dream), and Wedding Mario, Peach, and Bowser? Hell, can even add a Wedding Luigi design.

Honest question. If you're bad at playing Smash online, what do you all do? Do you keep playing and losing anyway (which isn't fun), or play with CPU? Or do you just train harder?

I'm considering dropping this game because online simply isn't fun, and I don't have anyone to play with locally. Only playing with CPU can get boring. I love Smash and want to keep playing, but it's becoming less and less enjoyable as time goes on. What should I do?

I do nothing but lose and it doesnt feel good so I kinda never go online if I do bother to play the game

I train harder, because CPUs are limited to their programming boundaries.
I can beat level 7s, 8s, and even 9s quite regularly (especially level 7 and 8, those feel like cake compared to level 9). But players from my Smash scene? Different story.
Finding a tournament to attend or going on anther's ladder and setting up battle arenas from there is the best route. I personally train as hard as I can without forgetting about my day-job responsibilities and also time to unwind.

I... Get cautious. So like, I played Wolf and lost a few matches, but then I focused and kept on my A-Game. I remembered that there are other buttons and tried to cover my weaknesses as well as play up my advantages. Then, when I got to a decent enough GSP and I felt more and more anxious (which could lead to potential slip ups) I simply took a break.

Predicting moves your opponent is gonna do or punishing the slower ones via a counter, reflect, or Perfect Shield are godsends against more inexperienced players. Also, I do it sonetimes because it throws people off, but maybe try not to telegraph your plays in your head all the times. Try to go with the flow and be erratic with it at times. If you already are erratic, then learn some refinery.

only played like 3 matches online and couldn't continue because it was honestly so boring to play online, and i didn't want to be bothered with getting into elite smash.

Usually I just play this game with my brother and my cousins when they visit. Otherwise, I don't really play often. In all honesty, I probably talk about the game more than I play it.

I mean, this may not be an option for you since you said you don't have anyone to play with locally, but maybe you can find a group of people to play it with? Imo this game is more enjoyable when playing with others.

Ok, thanks for all the answers. Here's what I'm thinking though. I can beat lv 9 CPUs with not much problem, but as soon as I go online it's like a completely different game and I get my butt handed to me. And training to play at a higher level just isn't all that enjoyable. I like smash as a game to have fun with, not to take seriously.

To be completely honest, playing smash casually is just way more fun for me. Items on, stage hazards (even hazardless with items), and all that stuff. Problem is, you need people to play with to make that more fun. CPUs are fine, but talking to people when playing makes for a better experience.

Back in the day I loved smash because I was always playing with my siblings. Now we're grown up and we don't live together so I don't really have anyone to play with these days. Maybe it's just time I put down smash and play more single player games. I still love this series, and will still play it, but I should probably just move on now.

I can safely say the one thing that kills me the most is when I tryhard and accidentally airdodge off the stage/try to recover and get punished :nessecho:

An important part of enjoying competitive games is learning to take losses well. No matter how good at a game you are, losing from time to time is just an inevitability.

I don't really have much advice for learning how to enjoy a game even when you lose, but I always try to see the moments where I have my butt handed to me as learning experiences, and I take a break if I start to feel a little frustrated.

Thing is, it's not just the losses themselves that bug me, it's the fact that I almost always lose. Losing once, twice, or even three times is fine, but when you lose so much that you can expect to lose every round and be right 9/10 times is why I complain.

I'm probably just going to stick to casual play only from now on, and only play competitive style if I have someone to play with. And I have other games to play, almost all of which I enjoy more than smash these days.

I hate lag and never play online. But it looks like the tournaments at the local collage will probably be canceled due to corona virus :urg:. This sucks.

For anyone disappointed about E3's cancellation, it might have been for the best. If you haven't seen/heard of their marketing strategies for this year, it was going to be very... gross:

Well E3 is usually cringe worthy at times. So this wouldn’t be a shock.

Now if it were non streamers or youtubers who were the celebrities at the panels and actually ones that played games would be fun. Getting someone like Brie Larson to talk about Metroid Prime 4 If we got it for example would be fun.

More intros, other fatality, brutalities, costumes, dialogue and rest of his moveset.

Also if I had to suspect we should get Kombat Pack 2 announced on the 24th with Spawn's full release. Hopefully that's the case.
