Replaying gen 5 makes me realize it's one of those "don't know how good you have it until it's gone" games. At the time I had my fair share of critiques, but nowadays I recognize these were the last Pokemon games that were truly spectacular.

Gastly can't learn Poison Gas, but it can hit you with the elemental punches instead.

Know what screw it. I decided with that Monsters vs. Aliens/How to Train Your Dragon crossover. I'm going to have Toothless' dragon family join him in being frozen and thawing in the present. Sure less emotions and drama but screw it (Only drama and emotions being Toothless realizing Hiccup has been gone for a very long time) and besides I don't want to be too cruel to our lovable dragon.

I can only imagine the complicated relationship Toothless and the Light Fury would have with Dr. Cockroach disliking him at first because he'd be trying to study them and their children by all means necessary (Their children especially which would ire them both) much to the others dismay.

I'd imagine too that Toothless and his family would be most popular among Team Monster by the public. The relevance and confirmed existence of dragons being the reason for this especially children and their little dragonlings would no doubt be adored.

Only thing is how to have a descendant of Hiccup possibility being in though? Already an existing character say like Ginormica/Susan Murphy or Dr. Cockroach or would an OC work better like someone who works at Area 51 and Toothless finds this out through scent (Due to said OC's bloodline).

Kyurem Black not having Ice Punch is honestly the only thing keeping him from being Ubers.

The fact that they intentionally designed a pokemon to be OP and its still had periods where it struggled to stay relevant in OU is both hilarious and sad.

Ice-type was a mistake.

I don't even get why most of the Water/Ice Pokemon from Kanto have that typing. Dewgong has Dex entries about it living in icy environments, but the other two can completely get away with being pure Water.

The competitive scene has crumbled, for it is so overpowered that it broke through it’s ban. Forcing itself into every battle.

The only Pokémon that could counter it, Stunfisk, isn’t in gen 10’s regional dex.

There is no hope.
