Though, in our celestial ballet in the void, never exactly synchronous with anything in the universe due to perturbative effects, which our culturally constructed calendars are merely an idealization of, isn't every day and every moment all of our birthdays? On a universal scale, we are all birthday buddies. :lol:

That’s not what the theory is talking about. It’s talking about Grookey’s evolutions having a feminine design (which is more important imo. Pokémon doesn’t really do sexual dimorphism). Like what happens with Popplio.

I just realized this would have been the perfect moment to quote "Birthday" by the Beatles. It would usually be the way I tell my friends happy birthday, then joke that it's not a very applicable song since it's not "my birthday too, yeah". For once, it was. :chuckle:

No. Lockstin was theorizing about the starters and points out that Gen 6 and Gen 7 both fit the “masculine one, feminine one, and cool one” tropes commonly found in media. And that grass is the only one that hasn’t been feminine yet. That combined with the idea that they could be music themed as well, seams like a really cool idea to me. He also theorizes that Sobble’s evolutions could be themed around theatre and acting. Along with the popular Scorbunny = Soccer theory. Each one would then be referencing a different type of Gala (like Galar haha) that’s extremely popular in and influenced by Britain and British culture.

I’m not exactly betting on it. This could be the case, but at the end of the day Pokemon evolutions are pretty unpredictable.

Rule of thumb; videos don't work for everyone. It's best to summarize the theory inside of it anyway. You're posting the theory after all, and we don't allow media-only posts for multiple reasons; including the lack of context. The context is something that the one posting the video should be actually explaining, nobody else.
