Aw man I missed the Steve discussion.

The Steveposting and the deformed render I honestly found somewhat funny except for the mean images against characters (though I still found the Steve render itself a bit funny), however as time went on with the dumb Banjo vs. Steve war I just started to mostly dislike the render, and I wish people would have included the real Steve helping Banjo and Erdrick get rid of the deformed imposter. A lot of Steve fans would rather not have the render associated with them, I’m sure.

Tbh I guess the render is still kinda funny but I’d like to have it as a villain with the real Steve as a hero fighting him.

Essentially, that would be a Minecraft take on Goku vs. Turles or some other similar mirror match. I dig that idea.
Still won't stop me from looking back at the Stevebros' reactions on /v/. Just a bunch of drama queens is what they is.

At this point i’m just waiting for the Hero mini-Direct so that we can play the character finally, but also get an idea of what to expect in the future. I mean think about it, we could get:

1) Returning Mii Fighter costumes (Geno, which would likely disconfirm him, and the Chocobo hat)
2) An indication of what to expect with future Fighter packs (Mii Costume Theory either supported or disconfirmed)
3) potential additional series in the form of Mii Fighters (The World Ends With You, Chrono Trigger, etc)

We already know a bit about the character, and there’s still more to learn, but the additional content is not only exciting for the short term, but we’ll still have a few months until Banjo-Kazooie gets released, and even longer until we know Fighter #4.

Either way, a shake up of conversation will be much appreciated.

I'd just like some clarification here.

It doesn't take more than a couple of seconds⁠—a minute at most⁠—to give proper reasoning. If you super ban someone for "rule violations," you point to where they violated the rules. It's the least you can do if you're in any position of leadership.

That's all I want. Instead of hiding behind vague explanations just tell the truth.

Maybe it's because they used illegal methods like looking into his PMs to super ban him but you didn't hear that from me.

Some quick Mario Maker 2 thoughts before I go back to it:

-Love basically all the new additions besides the obvious stuff like slopes: day/night, gravity, keys, etc. The level design gets really creative in Story Mode and makes me wish the actual games would do more stuff like this.

-Disappointing that we still can’t put in water pools. Either the whole level is underwater or there’s a rising tide. Unless there’s a balance reason I can’t think of, there’s no reason this shouldn’t be an option, it’s been a staple since SMB3.

-There’s some downgrades from the last game, like not being able to edit courses you download (I loved playing the levels in all the different styles) and obviously the Mushroom Costumes. While I understand those were a licensing nightmare, it would have been nice at least to bring back the first party ones. I wanna play as King K. Rool and Ridley in Super Mario Bros., dammit!

-Some other features I would want in the next game: the ability to make maps and worlds (even if it’s really simplistic), the ability to design levels that can shift from one style to another, more bosses (give us at least the SMB3 Koopalings), and secret exits (to tie into the map theme).

-While the story mode is cute, I think it would be great if they did a genuine adventure mode with a map and sense of progress. They could create a bunch of levels and have it as a $30 game like the Xenoblade 2 DLC. I’d buy it!

Complaints aside it’s a lot of fun and I think the premade levels are worth the price of admission alone, they’re great. Maybe now I can actually finish my Shadow Moses Island level that I was making in the first game…

It's illegal to look into PMs by the way. If that's what they used to super ban him, that's:
a.) Illegal, and
b.) Probably retroactive moderating, which the staff has claimed multiple times not to do.

Hey hey, I was involved here and will post a statement as soon as I know what I can and cannot say. For now, I can confirm that the banning of Mythra was not in error and is entirely warranted. However, as a general note, announcing that a user has been banned and for what reason is not normal protocol on any website to my knowledge.
