Smash is at a point where it just can’t break my heart.

From a 100% of the stuff I wanted, I already have the 99,99% of it. Crash is just that tiny 0,01% percent left and anything else is just extra.

Ultimate is a perfect game for me already.

I just beat Final Fantasy 7 for the first time. I got all of the items that unlocked limit breaks (even Omnislash), though I was only able to use Cloud's and Tifa's since I didn't have enough limit breaks for everyone else. It probably helped that I got Cloud's ultimate weapon (helpfully titled Ultimate Weapon) and a 2x attack materia, which made it so his basic attacks hit twice and did anywhere from 5000 to 9999 damage per hit.

I was worried that the game wouldn't live up to the hype that had been built up over the years, but it totally did. I can't recommend it highly enough - if you haven't played a Final Fantasy game before, then I'd say to go with either Final Fantasy 7 or Final Fantasy 6.

Y'know while Goku will likely never ever happen I'd actually unironically like this. One cause of Geno which is pretty obvious based off of my profile pic and how much of a die hard Geno fanboy I am but two cause Goku would legitimately be cool. I just hope in that scenario they specifically state and make it fully clear that Goku will be the only 4th party character to join ever.

We have every cut fighter back in this game and a new adventure mode, along with , three highly requested characters.

If 0% of your desires have been fulfilled in Ultimate, then maybe your desires are a bit too picky.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it, Final Fantasy 7 is one of those games that a lot of people tend to downplay a lot due to how praised it is. Stuff like you-know-who's death tend to also overshadow a lot of the best moments in the game.

It has some of my favorite characters in all FF and also has some of my favorite moments even if they don't seem quite significant. I'm glad that these games are becoming more easily available so that more people enjoy them.

I can understand someone not liking most of this lineup, but none of it? This is arguably the best lineup we've had since Brawl. There has to be someone you were mildly intersted in. If not, then I'd recommend just giving up on these last two DLC characters right now, because clearly your tastes are too narrow and specific for Smash.

Nice! Good for you. As a long time fan of that one and the series in general, it's nice to see others playing it for the first time and enjoying it. The hype has been pretty inflated over the years, but it is good.

A shame you didn't level the 2x Cut materia fully; it turns into 4x cut. That turns Cloud into an absolute monster lol.

Right now I have this random urge to get older games. I’ve never played any Dragon Quest games, Chrono Trigger, or Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon (sorry Opossum ), but recent searches of local GameStop’s have helped me find Dragon Quest VIII on 3DS, Chrono Trigger DS, and Shadow Dragon DS.

If I have time and feel like spending money, I may run out and get them today. Not sure yet, but it’s a possibility.

Considering Shadow Dragon's after market price is horridly inflated nowadays, definitely try to pick it up if you can!

I didn't say I disliked them either. The only one I didn't enjoy was Isabelle. They're really just not what I wanted in particular. I can accept it, but I don't really give a damn for them.

I have some thoughts about this.

I hope Jersey's flag is among the flags in the Pit Stop, I'd love to be able to rep my island online.

I'm saving up Wumpa Coins so I can get all 4 girls Day 1 (assuming they're 1500 Coins like everyone else, you need 6000 Wumpa Coins to get them), anything else I have after that will go towards buying other Nitro Tour stuff, which will benefit me in the actual GP content since using related items gives you more Nitro.

The Champion's Kart looks really cool, I'm not a big fan of it being only for the top 5%, but that just means I'll have to work hard to get it.

Not saying he or anyone else is obligated to like the lineup. I'm just saying that maybe it's time to reevaluate what characters you want to see in Smash if there wasn't anything in this lineup that excited you. This is almost as good as its gonna get, so either broaden your taste and find more characters you'd like, or accept that you'll probably be disappointed due to how much you're limiting yourself.

In Smash maybe, but Decidueye wasn't all that popular with the Pokemon fandom, or at least not as much as we tend to make him out to be.

When Sun and Moon first released, Primarina was the obvious favorite.

What 2000s Nintendo characters would you add at this point? Brawl and Smash 4 ran that well pretty dry with Ike, Lucario, Villager, Bowser Jr., Rosalina, Wii Fit Trainer, etc. as well as the classic characters who were notable during that era like Wario, Little Mac, and so on.
