You play, is very good.
I tried your level. It’s difficult, and I’m still trying to beat it.

I’ve got a few level codes here if anybody wants to try them. It’d definitely help a lot, since they’re all sitting at 0 right now.

I’ve been playing a lot of online multiplayer in MM2. Gotta say, it’s surprisingly addictive.

But the fries...

And the crackers...

And the soup...

...You know, I can't think of a lot of stuff to put salt on these days. XD
Isn't therea lot of stuff normal people put salt on that you don't even notice as an accent you don't even realise like meat and vegetables.

Or not I dont know what actual people do.

you throw salt crystals in soup?
Salt is on crackers. Which go in soup.

...Which totally does not look what I meant. Welp.

I more meant stuff where it's notable, but yes, salt and pepper happens a lot. I think cucumbers too?

If people took five seconds to flip over their can of Cambell's chicken noodle soup and read the amount of sodium in it, we might be able to cut the number of health problems in half.

Seriously, most people can't identify what foods have high sodium if they can't picture using a saltshaker during the meal. One cup of soy sauce (which is hopefully far less than what you require at the table) has 14,007mg of sodium. The daily value is 2,400mg.

lol no I enjoy the voice acting in your show.

I’m talking things like...
That game has a funny history actually, its been suspected that the localization team called some of their relatives and friends to do the VA. As for a reason, who knows? Most likely money.

Oh, I'm visiting relatives on Wednesday, so I won't be available sadly. Thanks for letting me know though!

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I should be able to get to questions if it's between today and tomorrow. Otherwise, I'm moving Mon-Wed to my new house, so that's when I'm busiest. Depends on when you have the threads planned. If there's a schedule conflict, just add me back to the queue.
Man, summers get busy. How 'bout we save you two for next week and redraw for this week?

Many thanks to those who wished me luck for my upcoming surgery. Thankfully, even though the disease makes my vision progressively get worse, I was told it can't lead to total blindness and I don't believe there was any risks with the surgery specifically. I do recall being told I'll have to wear sunglasses when outside for a whole year after since they'll be using UV light to strengthen my cornea and the sun's rays could mess that up. There was also the option to do a cornea transplant but the doctor said it'd be messy and they'd rather not do it. Seeing as how the surgery isn't even covered by OHIP, I highly doubt a transplant would be either and it'd probably cost more AND potentially be a risk so I'm content with just going through with the surgery.

For more 'on topic' stuff, I read a few posts today where people were mentioning their favourite animals. My #1 is wolves with foxes, dogs, cats and snakes not too far behind.

Some people were also mentioning how many of their most wanted have gotten into Ultimate and for me, there's really just Isabelle and the return of Wolf though he's nothing compared to his Brawl self. Isabelle is actually a very rare case for me where I picked her up because of who she is rather than for her playstyle. I guess there's Chrom too. Didn't really care when he got announced but he's my favourite character to use since he's just Roy but with an actual sword. Granted, I also don't even have a list of characters I want in Smash anymore. Smash 4 showed me that I care way more about fun gameplay than any character in the world.

That's fair. I do have to wonder how exactly the DLC works marketing wise though. My current speculation is that the DLC was chosen as a way to strengthen and maintain relationships with certain companies. Looking at the list of current third parties supporting the Switch, Bethesda is undeniably one of the most significant, at least in Nintendo's eyes. They were featured very prominently in both the initial Switch trailer and press conference, and with their own E3 conference and vast array of IPs, it's safe to say they're one of the biggest third party developers in the industry.
But speaking of world-wide popularity, a Bethesda rep wouldn't necessarily have to be Doom Fellow. Skyrim did surprisingly well in Japan, it sold 100,000 copies in its opening weekend, is one of the few Western games to get a perfect score from Famitsu, and continues to be referenced in pop culture. A character like Dovakhin would definitely have a big impact in both East and West. In the end though, again these last two spots are no man's land. Another western rep is still only a possibility, perhaps Banjo is just an exception due to essentially being a Nintendo character with his connection. Who really knows?
I honestly don't know. I mean, that could have been Nintendo's criteria when they picked the DLC options to give to Sakurai to make the final decision on which 5 got in, but its also just speculation. My opinion is that Nintendo looked at a mixture of A) who was popular in the Fighter Ballot and B) what have been insanely popular releases in the last couple years.
Joker fits an insanely popular game worldwide (I mean, it directly competed with Nintendo's own Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey for Game of the Year on various Game Awards in Magazines and Online). I also wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of Persona requests on the Fighter Ballot due to Persona 4 being very popular and Japan having multiple Persona 3 movies in Theaters the last few years.
We all know Banjo was a popular request worldwide.
And do I need to say how popular Dragon Quest is in Japan? Dragon Quest XI likely did very well in Japan and various Dragon Quest characters likely did well in the Fighter Ballot.
I mean, never say never, we did get Cloud, Joker, and Banjo, but it seems less likely for Sakurai to pick two Western characters when there are various characters that are more popular/Japanese (Sakurai likes to meet with and communicate with the creator of the characters included in Smash, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Party and its easier to meet someone in your own country that speaks your own language). The only character I could honestly see them going through that hassle for is Crash Bandicoot since he was insanely popular in both the West and Japan..which I say as someone who doesn't really care about Crash Bandicoot.
I, personally, feel that the 3 most likely characters are Sora, Crash, and Heihachi or Lloyd Irving (or another Tales character).

Maybe humans were a mistake

Maybe dolphins should be the dominant species
You say that as if an advanced dolphin civilization wouldn't succumb to their animalistic instincts the same way humans do.

Finally watched the Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Any of you peeps have opinions on it? It was a pleasant surprise for me. I love the anthology style of it all, and the scenes are VERY well shot and the actors nailed it overall.

I mean they pretty much are in the underwater scene.

We rule the land and the skies, we can't do **** about water tho. Too much pressure.

All animals need salt so survive, so I imagine that a dolphin's salt gland would leave at least a little salt behind.
you know we've lost it as a video game community once we start arguing about salt biology
