This seems farfetched. Can you then explain why Duck Hunt has no fur? That's right you can't.

I got bored and made what I would love to see as costumes for Dante from Devil May Cry were he to make it into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I may do Jill Valentine later on.

Now, there are some things I would add that I couldn't due to a lack of skill, such as the particular patterns on the outside and inside of the Vergil's coat for the Vergil reference alt and a denim texture on the pants for Diesel reference alt.
I figured that Dante's coats being different shades of red in each game would be enough of a difference to work as alts similar to how Sonic and Cloud work.

Spirit Battles
Vergil (Dante, Vergil Alt), has Killing Edge, level is Reset Bomb Forest post Bomb, music is The Duel (DMC5)
Lady (Bayonetta, White Alt), has Super Scope, level is Arena Ferox, Omega, music is Devils Never Cry (DMC3)
Trish (ZS Samus, Black Alt), has Death's Scythe, level is Mallet Island, music is Lock and Load (DMC)
Nero (Dante, Nero Alt), level is Coliseum, Omega, music is Shall Never Surrender (DMC4)
Lucia (Lucina, Cherche Alt), level is Dracula's Castle, music is Away (DMC2)
Nico (Bayonetta, Yellow Alt), Random Kapp'n ATs, level is Four Side, music is Devil Trigger (DMC5)
V (Dante, DmC Alt), Random Assist Trophies, level is Luigi's Mansion, music is Devil Trigger (DMC5)

Yeah, the Banjo & Kazooie trailer homage to K Rool feels like a one-time thing giving the opportunity to have Rare characters in it as well as a way to confuse the viewer--it's why they had the villain fake-out, despite it not being a villain. Straight up trying to fool us Sakurai, and it worked on me.

I do think Crash has a possible path--I particularly like that rumor that had Lloyd and Crash, though it was most likely a lucky guess.

Also, to those saying they used the trailer to re-use assets--look at that photorealistic rock at the end. :chuckle: But seriously, the amount of fan-service in that Final Smash leading into a recreation of the final scene from Banjo-Kazooie was amazing, re-used assets or not.

DMC2 is the worst game but has the best Dante design.

If this happened... I'd almost feel bad, since I was so damn spoiled by this Fighter Pass.

Honestly if this happened I'd probably just explode. I once said Joker was impossible, but he wasn't.

So just maybe, it could happen?

I've been playing a lot more Hale and Deathrun lately. With sprays off. The results are equal parts silly and horrifying, but it's still a big mood raiser, just like the thought of this very idea. Let's just sit back and see what happens.

Though, shame they completely ditched the Monkey King theme, it fit Ryuji perfectly.

Anyway, I have to go to a theme park with my camp kids today. I can’t wait to hang back all day and not ride any rides because rollercoasters scare the **** out of me and the only non-coaster they have is a haunted house.... lucky me.

But still: "Some DLC characters could be considered overpowered on launch, and thereby breach some of the wording in Hawley's bill. Lawmakers could determine that Joker in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Pass could give players an unfair advantage online, for instance, and block the sale of additional DLC characters in Nintendo's fighting game."

It does look pretty cool! I hope they are using this and Pokemon Bank's phone-to-phone trading to test out eventually having "normal" battles on phones.

I'd accept the lack of full dex on main games if we got a "battle revolution" or "stadium" type game on phones.
