Well, uh, that Pokemon Masters thing looks alright

Sadly, no one can seem to appreciate it. The comments on any video pertaining to Pokemon Masters are all related to Sword and Shield. The typos make them even more annoying.

"We do note care. #BringBackNationalDex"
"So, this game is the thuly game of the year and Sword and Shield are the spinoff? Just for curiosity... "
"While PokemonMasters looks decent enough, I'm guessing our bonds with our Pokemon mean nothing in the Galar Region. #BringBackNationalDex"

After reading comments like these for the past two weeks, I'm legitimately considering cheering for no National Dex.

okay so i've been rereading the Warrior cats books and
HOLY **** they're so GOOOOOOD
J.K. Rowling can go suck a rock, Erin Hunter is the best author of the modern era

Warriors is super good. I lost interest with the sequel series, but they were still solid.

If you ever want recommendations for solid books, @ me. I read like crazy, especially fantasy books.

It's less that they weren't good, more that there are just so many lol. Over the years I fell behind and just never caught up. At the same time, I was "full" and satisfied from just the main series.

The author just kept having ideas for new books lol. I'd say that the series became a bit over extended and milked, but eh, as long as people like them it's fine.

The whole #bringbacknationaldex just like any twitter movement lacks pretty much any idea on how to approach the situation in a reasonable manner since they are just angry. Pretty much the movement is going to implode eventually and most likely before Sword and Shield's release.

The sentiment behind it is partially valid, but it does ignore how much effort is needed to port in the pokemon. Especially with Game Freak saying that they ran into issues with the Switch architecture.

On my end, I'd be fine with it if they made a Battle Revolution type game that was just eternally updated.

Definitely! And if you get bored, there are tons of great books out there. Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy is something I'd highly recommend.

It's set in a world covered in mist, where the immortal Lord Ruler has reigned for centuries. Meanwhile on the thickest nights of mist, people are sometimes given strange powers that involve eating metal.

It's great! One of the coolest magic systems that I've ever read.

Great! It's a solid read, and his other books are good too. Mistborn is just a finished trilogy compared to his ongoing series, so it makes for a satisfying beginning and end compared to waiting a year or two for another book.

Also wtf Erin lol. Yeah I feel less guilt about not reading the later books. I'm sure they're fine, but I assumed they were all one author.

My opinion is that at least GameFreak hasn’t been putting their staff on crunch, though I wouldn’t be surprised if they thought that was a good solution to the problem (it isn’t).

However it’s nice to see that Nintendo is avoiding bull**** like this when they delayed Animal Crossing, I just hope their loss in stocks doesn’t send them the wrong message.

While avoiding crunch is admirable, have they come out and said that they are avoiding crunch in general? Or just that they aren't putting the pokemon in, due to issues + additional crunch?

Agreed on Animal Crossing, but don't worry too much about their stocks. Companies across the board have had their stocks falling, due to severe over valuations on the market. It's a bad time for the market in general lol.

I felt guilty about the reload as well. That's why I'm replaying it...to give my favorite video game cast of all time some closure...everyone, especially Sans and Asriel with all they had to go through.

I've never completed genocide either. I was curious about it so I did try it, but I stopped at the Undyne battle. I couldn't keep killing off my favorite video game cast, and besides...genocide route is BORING. Like, wow lol. I forgot how annoying level grinding is.

Either way, I'm taking a brief intermission to type this, then I continue my fight with the final boss. It's easier than I remember so far. Been about 2.5 years since I've finished the true ending.

Yeah Genocide being boring is a large part of the point, I think. You're expected to get bored and stop, while a "true monster" would keep going. It's neat.

Your reasoning sounds like what I would do too, lol. Leaving it on a True Pacifist ending. That final boss fight is (emotionally) intense too, it's great. I got teary-eyed when I got to it the first time.
