There are so many memorable characters that were used for a single game then dropped, so I'm pretty excited for Masters too.

They actually brought back Kris. That alone has me sold. I just hope we can also get the original designs for older characters.

Speaking of which, do you guys remember that one Pokemon game that had gameplay similar to Fire Emblem? I forgot it's name.

Pokemon Conquest. Was a Nobunaga's Ambition crossover.

DMC2 is the worst game but has the best Dante design.

Thanks. I can't agree that DMC2 has the best design (I love the DMC1 look, I even have a full pleather cosplay of it in my closet), but it is a good design. I wanted to include it, but I went with the three more popular games..that said, replacing DMC4 with DMC2 would be fine since DMC4 is my least favorite Dante design...and honestly, it would probably be better to look more different.

You're very brave for throwing Don'te in there. Takes a whole lot of guts to to even murmur a reference to a game as divisive as DmC. You have my honest compliments.

DmC was a fun game with a terrible story and characterization.
That said, having a recolour using the DmC Dante colours on the actual Dante, particularly DMC5's, actually looks pretty good. I mean, Capcom themselves did it twice now with DMC4:SE and DMC5.
I will admit, I didn't make that DmC recoloured rendered of DMC5 Dante, that's the actual render for the Alternate Costume for Dante.

Crystal's back?! Oh god yes! I have always, ALWAYS hated that she was replaced with Lyra in HeartGold/SoulSilver. Along with Dawn, Crystal is tied for my fav trainer design!

I feel like the National Dex thing on social media is people being angry, with no offer of how to fix the problem.

This is similar to quite a few social media outcries.

I am disappointed by it myself, but it’s an unfortunate reality. If Game Freak plunked in the same models, same animations, and what not of all Pokémon, fans would be just as upset that Game Freak did THAT. It’s a lose lose, and fans make it that way.

I hope they update it over time. But i’m not going to harass game developers over something in a $60 game I want to play. There are students I teach whose families can’t afford a single console, let alone eat breakfast once every two days.

There are worse things going on than not having every digital monster in the world. Remember that.

It just bothers me how people can't seem to find anything about Sword and Shield that's worth being optimistic about. All I see is, "No National Dex, terrible graphics, and Dynamax Battles suck! Canceling pre-order!"

We've barely scratched the tip of the iceberg with this game. At least try reserving your judgement until we get a few more trailers that show us more Pokemon, more of the story, the towns, and more new features.

I went to E3 last year with almost the sole purpose of playing Ultimate early. It was a fun experience but probably not one I'll be doing again any time soon.

I have once again completed the True Pacifist ending in Undertale...and all is well in the world. Gonna stop here. The characters finally have their closure, and it'll stay that way this time.

I thought about actually mentioning Aegislash, but since he has a mouth to eat poketreats in the Amie, I wasn't exactly sure if he needs to breath of not.

I do, Conquest was one of my favorite Pokemon spinoffs. I was always disappointed they never revisited the concept.

This whole National Dex issue just living evidence that Game Freak needs to get with the times and actually communicate with their audience. Almost every other major studio acknowledges the fans issues, even if it's nothing more than "We hear your concerns, stay tuned for more", (Heck, even Nintendo themselves address issues) but Gamefreak just stays silent, which does not fly in 2019 where communication is key.

Something I noticed from the far from home post credit scenes rumor:

In one of the tv spotlights there’s the scene with peter asking about the other heroes, and when he mentions captain marvel, nick fury says don’t invoke her name.

This is a really odd reaction but makes much lore sense if he’s a skrull. They respect captain marvel above all else for saving them so them not thinking she needed to be involved here or that peter was I guess worthy enough to talk about her.

This also adds up with the reviews saying you will need to rewatch this one to notice little things you didn’t before. This could also explain the twist tom holland mentioned where he asked the director if that was alright to include. Either way thought that was an interesting detail.

I'll agree that I'd prefer a relaxed flapping too, but I don't think what they went with is bad. The Wingull still tilts and floats around while it moves, just like it did before.

As for why it's so close to the ground, I guess they couldn't think of a way for the player to engage in battle if it were any higher.
