Hey there’s a Steam sale going on for my favorite developer Supergiant Games. 3 full games and their soundtracks for 23$!

Seriously Bastion, Transistor, and Pyre (my favorite) are all amazing games, I really recommend any of them. If you want to buy them, now would be the time when they’re dirt cheap.

You were arguing that they did not communicate though. They did. Just because its reasons that you don't like doesn't mean they aren't reasons. If you aren't willing to actually think about why they may have made the decision and how the reasons given might actually improve the game, that's on you. If they were to say absolutely nothing about patching pokemon, would that have been better? Its not meant to instill confidence because they aren't sure if it will happen and are being transparent about it. They've been pretty transparent about it in general, actually. Most other companies wouldn't even let this issue be known until launch. We should hold companies to high standards, but the impact of this decision on the game's quality is not objective. Less pokemon does not necessarily mean a worse game.
They are a multi-billion dollar company, dude. If they can afford to make their own line of designer shirts that nobody was asking for, they can afford to promise an update. Outsourcing is a thing.

If I can't use my favorite Pokémon then it's simply not a quality game and shouldn't be billed, or priced, as a mainline entry. If I can use Qwilfish in a 40 dollar mainline game, there is no good reason why I should buy a sixty dollar one where I can't.

Especially if GameFreak's idea of an "update" is another USUM styled scam.

It's definitely better for PvP (if not somewhat unbalanced), though it's made PvE way too easy imo. You can stand in one spot and kill a mob in about 1 second without it touching you; it's even faster than pre-1.9.

Of course, it's an early version that's not even in the launcher by default, so I know Jens and whoever else may be working on it will continue balancing it and I'm sure it will be good for both singleplayer and multiplayer. I hope they keep shields without a delay; it allows "blockhitting," which players in servers like Hypixel were very stubborn about.
Good observation!
I'm sure they will change the flaws mentioned.
In my opinion, I think the base sword itself should not be buffed, but rather enchantments itself.
I also like the idea of axes having a different niche from swords. Slower, yet more powerful. Axes can work as a good anti-armor weapon.
This comment describes my opinion best.

Axes are definitely a nice idea; I like the idea of trading speed for strength, plus they can disable shields.

I also like how hoes are getting damage now, and are the fastest weapon, though also the weakest.

-also, yeah I saw that comment before but I didn't remember everything he said. I agree with that, too.

Pokemon's E rated, right? I mean, it looks like she's sliding that down.
Then why couldn't Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, a TV-MA show, allow for the hand sliding?

I think the discussion of people literally sliding their clothes off is a bit inappropriate for the thread, and I think it's safe to assume that characters in official pokemon art aren't taking off their clothes.

Well, that's not what she's doing.
It's different.

Yeah, I'm getting really irritated about the lack of ARMS graphic novel details. And I've been keeping track of the timeline:
  • October 5, 2017
    • ARMS graphic novel announced. Given a "Fall 2018" release date
  • December 19, 2017
    • Announces a preview will be given out on Free Comic Book Day 2018
  • April 21, 2018
    • Nintendo showed a sneak peak of the comic at San Diego Comic Con 2018
  • May 6, 2018
    • Free Comic Book Day preview comic released
    • Preview comic states that the full graphic novel has been delayed to "January 2019"
  • January 21, 2019
    • Dark Horse Comics state they are working with Nintendo for a new date
  • Now
    • NOPE! NADDA! ZILCH!

I'm actually fine with not all Pokemon coming back, eapecially if it imrpoves the quality of the game across the board.

... but like I haven't seen anything currently super impressive to exactly make up for it, though that may change as we get more news, but currently SwSh is a pass for me.

All these people using the word “slide” just makes me remember everytime I had to do this on both the N.Sane Trilogy and the PS1 trilogy emulated on my phone:

Breath of the Wild got rid of traditional dungeons, yet despite this is widely loved because it made up for it by having an open world physics sandbox. Even as someone who loves Zelda dungeons and was miffed that we only got shrines and divine beasts, I still love the game since it made up in other areas.

Unlike Zelda, Pokemon has yet to put forward an inciting counteroffer for it's sacrifice, especially now since the games are 20$ more expensive and still keeps the anti-consumer tradition of splitting the game into two fully priced products.

Alright, that's your choice. Personally, I would take a more polished game over one that lets me use my favorite pokemon any day. I also consider the quality of a pokemon game to come from the gameplay and world rather than the pokemon I'm using, but you're entitled to your opinion.

This may seem risky to say, but the Pokémon Ranger trilogy didn’t feature every single Pokémon that existed back when they released.

Yet I loved the games due to the gameplay, the missions, the characters and the plot. So technically Pokémon has managed to deliver a great experience for me without every Mon at least with those spin-off.

I don’t want to say anything else about the topic doh, since people may not find the Ranger games as awesome as I do.

I like how I walked in to an argument about Pokemon again when Masuda still hasn't clearly communicated if there will be a patch or not yet Iga immediately went "Yeah we're patching the Switch version of Bloodstained up, we're going to make that top priority now, sorry for the inconvenience" after the smallest backlash of it. Worst I experienced was 5 second loading screens between rooms which yeah that's a bit rough but hasn't been very common at all

Sharing a cool LEGO custom minifigure showcase based on Super Mario Maker:

This youtuber is also doing custom minifigures of the whole Smash Ultimate roster, right now preparing Hero and Banjo.
