Some people are theorizing that he's travelling to their HQ in Florida. Obviously nobody knows for sure where he could be though.

Am I the only one that doesn't like Zelda's short hair, like, at all? It's not too big a deal since her design changes around with each timeline, but I always liked her long hair.

Don't mind it too much - besides, if it's a sign that she's going to be playable (cos longer hair clipping with armour n stuff), then it's deffo worth it

I still find it hillarious that Grant Kirkhope's son knew about Banjo in Smash all this time, and he just had to stay quiet the whole time. Must've been tough considering that he is a Smash fan.

Not to reignite anything surrounding Pokemon Sword and Shield, but honestly, after being so critical of it last week, I've mostly softened on my frustrations with the game. Like I wish it was doing more as the first HD entry, but cutting Pokemon doesn't bother me all that much the more I think about it. I played some of Let's Go Pikachu and Soul Silver and immediately just had waves of nostalgia for the franchise hit me. Plus, looking at Let's Go helps at least make Sword and Shield stand out a lot more. Still don't really care about Dynamax stuff and I really hope the game sees as big a leap in graphical fidelity as the reveal to E3 was since it at least did look significantly upgraded from that period, but yeah. I was probably being overly harsh given that Game Freak will never do what I want them too and make big Pokemon game once per generation.

I don't know if I'll buy it day one, but I really like the open world and some of the new Pokemon designs are the first to genuinely catch my attention in a positive way in a while lol. Plus, Sif's Wolf as a legendary is still dope.

If it's a character who even a total stranger with no interest in video games might recognize, there's a good chance I'll be on board with the character, regardless of whether or not I played the game. I'd actually be cool with a Minecraft rep just because it's undeniable that the franchise has made a significant impact on gaming. I'm also on board with characters like Sora, Lara Croft, and even some type of Tetris character if Sakurai could make it work.

I also wouldn't mind seeing some of the existing third-party franchises expand a little. Sonic in particular is one I'd love to see get a second rep.

I'm sort of restating what you said toward the end, but even if Isaac wasn't an AT, he'd still be a long shot.

When Sakurai is paring down the list of newcomers he'll add to a Smash game, it gets harder and harder to justify keeping a character from a dead franchise over someone from a franchise that's alive and kicking. Issac has the popularity, but he has neither the relevancy or the iconicness to stand up to a majority of the newcomers Sakurai would likely be looking at. If he ever does get in a Smash game, he'll likely have to be made a much lower priority than the rest of the newcomers just because his appeal is limited.

I'm really starting to come around to the idea of Morrigan being one of the remaining DLC characters, the only problem I see is that they would most likely want to tone her outfit down, but how do you tone that down? Canonically in the games, has she ever worn a different costume?

I don't like it as much as the old one, but the short hair still looks good. I'm just happy we have a Zelda with a hairstyle you could realistically see with someone in public.

Plus, people are speculating that the short hair might have something to do with Zelda being easier to animate when a lot of movement is involved. Gives me hope for playable Zelda. :grin:

I'm just going to add that Isaac is a long shot for Smash unless a new Golden Sun happens. Geno is not happening imo. There's a chance you could argue for, but I don't see him happening, unfortunately.

Also glad to see the new characters are showing up in post backgrounds now.

:ulthero: is going to be a fun and interesting character. I like the menu-driven stuff, and using magic like that is something I had of interest for an RPG character. The MP meter was something I even considered for Brian, but dismissed the idea due to how unfeasible it was. Looking at the moveset Hero has, I probably made the right decision here, as his moveset isn't completely full of spells(an issue Brian suffers from) but has a nice balance of other attacks.

I also wonder when we'll get the other three icons~

Been thinking about making some small Smash Ultimate content on my channel, since nothing is on it. I finally got a good idea for a video... You all will also be cursed with the knowledge of what my trash voice sounds like.
