It was the 13th to me, but yeah. It almost doesn't feel like the year ended. Usually the last week or so we don't do much, and it really feel like a celebration at the end of the tunnel. That didn't happen this year. It's gonna be a little weird going back to school and having a new schedule with new classes, even ignoring all the safety stuff.

heh. Unlike last year where i had to deal with 7 classes, this year I only have to deal with 5 due to my study halls.

I dunno if it's gonna be easier overall than last year though... but I guess I'll just have to see. Gonna be a hell of a transition into this "3 days at home, 2 days in school" system we have to do this year.

lucky. I have 9 classes, 3 of which are AP. There are two classes that I wanted to take, but they were both only offered one period so I have to have them on an alternating schedule (3 days of Spanish II, 2 days of Wind Ensemble).

And I have to go back full time. I think it's stupid, but hopefully we won't be doing that for too long.

How many animatronics is this going to be? 10? 15? ****ing like... 50?

I'm kinda curious where Scott is gonna go with this: integrating lore from other games is a lot more difficult then simply introducing it yourself, and while he's not doing the coding himself this project is going to need ALOT of coordination if this is to work well, if at all.

They aren't becoming canon to the main lore. It's sort of like how the books aren't canon to the games.

When I left the social thread in early July 2019, it was a lot more active than now. It seems like there are less users posting in here than last year.

I am not saying this is a bad thing, peace is nice, but I am just curious.

Even if somehow, someway, Halo Infinite turned out to be some kind of absolute garbage of a Halo game I can already tell that they nailed the soundtrack from the 3 or so they’ve released so far.

A lot of the regulars left after the disaster, and didn't want to return (and I can't really fault them for that). I still kinda miss the old social, but at least most of the users are either here or you-know-where, and that particular user will never come back.

While I don't remember exactly what happened that fateful day(and honestly I would rather not) I definitely considering leaving after that. But then again I didn't even know how to delete my account back them so I never bothered. And I was still in that gaming phase so having an account here was still really important to me. Nowaday's that's less so the case, but I digress.

Also if I have to be honest I like the social thread when it's quiet and smaller. Doesn't give me the same sense of stress unlike the Newcomer Speculation thread or the Geno thread where hundreds of people are watching everything at the same time. And I prefer it that way honestly.
