Going by this tweet, there will be some reveals at the fighting game roundtable today (which is in about 7 hours from now), so it might be worth watching, or at least having on in the background. (at the very least, there's going to be a new Guilty Gear character shown)

There are flash games from Newgrounds that move characters better than this. This doesn’t feel like intentionally ugly, it feels lazy ugly. And it’s not just the toads, the Dark Queen has no resemblance the old one, and I don’t mean the skimpy clothes. It’s like putting a yellow jacket on Megan Fox and calling her April O’Neil

And again... I just don’t agree. The Queen for example, to me, looks like the old one drawn in a new art style and wearing different clothes. She’s even got the exaggerated proportions and a mean case of Gendy’s Gams. And again, I just don’t see laziness here. I see how expressive the roads are in motion and I just can’t call it lazy. This kind of exaggerated style is much easier to animate as well. And like... ugly? Really. Like, I wasn’t a fan of the direction that Rise of the TMNT went in as a show. But every time I heard someone call the show ugly I just scratched my head and asked why they thought that and the only answer I would get is “look at it”. Like, I think the look great. Like they’re straight out of a grungy 90s cartoon.

And what parents don’t want their kids to play is very different now then it was when the roads were created. And a gritty and realistic gorey brawler with lots of swearing just isn’t true to what the roads are. Need I remind you of Bomberman: Act Zero? And if that’s not what you mean then please elaborate. Because parents these days are pretty okay with gross out and irreverence.

Also. Need I remind you of all the bad trailers for great products? Of course they’re gonna pick the most “pandering” (god I hate that word) moments for the trailer. So they can actually sell it to kids.

They'd probably have to be dlc characters otherwise there would have to be a pretty good reason for some of these characters to pop up in the story mode.

Been thinking about asking my parents for 10€ to have 20-so to use tomorrow for anything and meeting with my friends to watch something on the cinema (maybe Scoob! as there's really nothing else interesting to watch at the moment at least until the new SpongeBob movie comes out hopefully).

He is. I haven't played in a while. but I main Adachi/Hazama. Occasionally I'll go with Teddie, too, but Adachi might possibly my favorite character in Persona 4, so seeing him added to Cross Tag was enough reason for me to get that game.

The second half of today turned out really gñe because my parents ended up not doing anything to celebrate the news and my father had to take me with him to go look something and basically left me in evidence in front of everyone there just because he was obsessed with asking me to take food for home even though I already knew I had to do that.

So yeah, feeling that in a way I also took part in making your day more tense does sadden me too, and I wish there was anything I could do to help you make It a bit better.

Speaking of the Fighting Game Roundtable, I'm interested to see what will be revealed there. I won't be able to watch it since I'll probably be in bed at that time, so I won't get the news until a wake up tomorrow morning.

Anyways here are my predictions on what they could reveal:

SNK: Maybe some new Samurai Shodown content and news on the next King of Fighters game.
Bandai Namco: new character reveals for SoulCalibur VI and Tekken 7.
Arc Systems Works: New Guilty Gear character reveal as stated from above.
Capcom: This one is going to be an interesting one. Since I do feel that they do have a live stream of character reveals for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition for August 4, this makes me wonder whether they have something else to announce or perhaps they could save it for their own live stream. Here's hoping for something related to Marvel Vs Capcom or (by a long distance) a new Darkstalkers game.

I posted a trailer for the new Battletoads Game, Wade disliked the artstyle which is something fine to consider and everyone went on him about It and he got really stressed about It as he had a bad morning.

I am honestly another person to blame for It too as I just out of nowhere dropped him a wall of text about Transformers Animated which kinda had to do with the Battletoads thing but not entirely.

And now between his bad morning and all that Wade is very stressed and I feel bad for being in a way part of the problem.
