That sounds like an idea destined for Emoji Movie levels of bad. How exactly do you take the concept of tetris(which has no characters mind you, just blocks) and turn that into a story/movie?

I thought that film was canceled!

The Tetris movie that was going to be a sci-fi trilogy made by the same guy who made Foodfight (why?) is likely dead.

THIS one, however, sounds like the true story of the intense legal battles the game IP went through back in the day.

They are just OCs for Puyo Puyo Tetris.

There are seven of them; the rest are pre-established Puyo Puyo characters.

I used to, but eh. Never been a big movie person so alot of the jokes and stuff they made kinda flew over my head.
That and their content has devolved into "yelling at a screen over how bad x movie is with occasional unfunny jokes here and there" and that's just not my cup of tea.

The plot is your standard crossover plot. Some big new villain is merging multiple dimensions together to take them over or remake them or whatever. It starts out in the Wonderful 101 world going as normal until unfamiliar enemies begin to show up as well as Raiden from MGR (who has become his world's extradimensional specialist after the "All-Stars Incident". They begin traveling through the multiverse recruiting other characters and battling villains until the end of the story and the final boss's defeat.

So I've changed from Yakuza to Hyperdimension Neptunia for pfp (I'm not betraying Noire, never in a thousand lifetimes will I switch my allegiance), I just absolutely adore the album cover of one of the games soundtracks.

Plus I want to try to swear a bit less with the change of pfp. I swear it's crazy that I'm changing it frequently. Looking at you Lamperouge , @JDCabrera and Wademan94 . This is you guys influence on me.

The only reason why I go onto that place now is to watch the odd anime OP (Which isn't taken down) and a review for a game I haven't decided on.

Yeah, I blame the amount of times I change my pfps to my ADHD.

I can never decide for a definitive one to fit my personality.

I was going to make this into a Profile Post but, a while back, Shroob pinged me about the current situation in Japan related to COVID19. I wanted to expand on that based on sort-of new info concerning “working from home” or in Japanese, Tereworking (Tele-working).

For me, I’m back teaching classes with obvious restrictions. I can’t go out of the school once I come in until 5 pm rolls around. In addition, I can’t stop for errands or anything going to work or coming home. I must come home first, changed my clothes, and then do errands.

However, Teleworking is still being enforced in many businesses and offices including, to my knowledge, Nintendo. To compare, I have a friend who works at Line, which is a Japanese messaging/social media company where he translates the services into English with a focus on the in-app stickers. He said that most are working from home save for a few divisions who would suffer if they work from home. However, he said it’s set up so some people are working from home while others are in the office and then switch. Usually, it’s set up so no one is sitting next to you on a given day. Line is a very big company and one of the largest tech companies in Japan.

I have another friend working for a Tokyo branch for a Swiss company and he said he’s been working from home since February and that the company will enforce this for the unforeseeable future. Thankfully, his work provided him equipment and even paid for a back massager and standing desk for him. To my knowledge, it’s a small company with about 8 workers total.

Lastly, my brother-in-law (my wife’s sister’s husbands) works as a director for QVC, an American television shopping channel. He directs and manages certain shows and works every day from 6 am to 8 pm. Then comes home and helps his wife and three kids so he’s extremely busy. To my knowledge, he only did tele-directing four times but, most times, him and his entire team were at the studio but under strict social distancing and preventive restrictions.

It seems to me that each company, institution, facility, etc has its own measures to recent the spread of COVID19. However, Japan is still teleworking and, from what I remember, it seems Sakurai and his team are also as well.

The reason why I bring this up is because I do think people in Western countries compares Japan’s numbers (which are very low) to countries like the US and think that Japan is largely open and free from the restrictions COVID19 causes. This isn’t true as the country is, technically, becomes stricter little by little after the initial quarantine that happened back in April to May. I do think this most recent mini and the lack of any notable Smash news to be reflective of the constantly shifting and...uncertain nature that COVID19 brings to Japan.
