I’ve been playing it, I just finished the third streamer and

Bobby is the ****ing best man

I really love how much heart the game has you can really feel the writers passion For The story they want to tell both through its wit and its serious moments
I love the fact that they never played up his death for laughs, and actually kept it serious through the whole time. There's also dialouge near the end of the game that makes you appreciate Bobby a bit more.

Also, if you haven't already, take a picture at Shogun Studios.

I also really love that Mario finally showed some emotion as he felt a little like an observer to the story sometimes

and him having to find a way to make Olivia laugh so she can move forward and my own relatization that his whole character arc was kind of learning how to hold on to the memory’s of the ones you lost

it Just hit in all the right ways.

Yeah Mario frantically rushing to get Bobby to stop really hit me, because normally, in every other title, he just kinda stands there with the same expression for the more emotional scenes.

This game gave Mario some personality, so kudos to them.

Just thinking about Rise of the TMNT and I formed two fan theories.

I think if the show had gone on that the "Foot Recruit" character would have been revealed to be a female version Oroku Saki, she has the same personality as the 80s Shredder and Saki is actually a girls name in Japanese. I also think that the Foot Lieutenant and Foot Brute characters would have mutated into either Bebop and Rocksteady or Tokka and Rahzar. Would have been interesting to see, but I'm not sad the show is over.

I actually do like that Nintendo does a free game week with their online system. I wish they were a bit more frequent, but I'll take what I cam get.

Speaking of which, did they just start doing the Game Trails this year or has it been since last year

Since last year.

They started with Mario Tennis Aces.

oh don’t worry, the show is still alive atm
There was a problem fetching the tweet
getting really real for a show stuck on Nicktoons and manages to get a lot of attention on Twitter surprisingly

Speaking of TMNT, I'm now reading the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters crossover comic. :b:

Found out about something interesting related to modding in Ultimate:

This gives me hope for adding characters (maybe Brawl ports?) but that still might take a long time.

its weirdly the weakest crossover they've recently done...which says too much for how awesome the IDW Turtles have been with Batman and Power Rangers

there was one last year (Mario Tennis), but they started doing them way more this year (ARMS, Splatoon, and now Pokken)

Wait... it's still going? Wow. Is it getting another season? Is it worth watching? I never went beyond those initial preview episodes.

it takes some time to get used to it, but it’s worth a watch. It’s pretty much the Ultimate Spider-Man of TMNT...but better

Looking forward to see how the story of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time will affect the lore and the ending of the show.

We know the game is canon to the show and takes place during the show's series finale but how exactly will the events of the game tie to the show?

And I have some feeling this game could have multiple endings (cause, you know, time travel can be a complicated subject).

Closing thoughts on Origami King (for now)
This game didn't deserve the thrashing that it got pre-release, but I understand why it did. The Mario RPGs are kinda in... limbo? Since Alphadream is dead and PM has been experimental since the 3rd game, some people do want a more return to form to a traditional Mario RPG, and that's okay. However, the fact that TOK didn't quite do that doesn't mean it's bad; people loved Super, and that was nowhere near TTYD and 64 in terms of gameplay. However, Super didn't have to follow up Sticker Star and it's sequel; TOK did, which made people more antsy about this game. The PR didn't help at all either, and that interview nearly killed the hype for this game. Nearly.

As it turns out, the game is pretty damn good to many. Yeah sure it's not TTYD sequel many want, but it's more on the lines of Super in terms of being it's own thing, and those that have played it would probably rank it up there wuth the original trilogy (most people put it around Super level). I just feel like it fell victim to unfortunate timing and poor PR, which isn't the game's fault, but it gave it it's thrashing that it didn't deserve. The game's not **** as people were expecting (far from it), nor is it Sticker Star 3 like many were thinking (it's honestly closer to being Paper Zelda than Sticker Star). I'm glad to see that the game is getting it's vindication, and if we won't get the style of the first 2 back by any means, then I hope they build upon OK's foundation.

I see some people consider OK to be Paper Mario 4, so take that with what you will.

Everyone is misreading that Tweet: "The film will follow the true story of the high-stakes legal battle to secure the intellectual property rights to Tetris."

It's not TETRIS: The Movie, it's more of a docudrama (like The Social Network) about the battle to acquire the rights to Tetris (I'm guessing in the 80's/90's?). Because that is an interesting story, dealing with the politics and issues of the Soviet Union at the time, and it led to the GameBoy taking off because Tetris was bundled with and became a sensation that helped launch the product.

It's not a video game movie, it's a movie about a video game.
