With all the drama that goes on in fandoms, and the real world being on fire right now, I'm just tired of caring. It's like I run into toxicity everywhere I go.

This thread is a bit of a safe haven for me where I can be comfortable being passionate about what I like without being considered "weird" for it, but even this place is not immune to drama and even a little toxicity here and there.

I'm tired. I want to go rent out a cabin in the woods away from civilization or the internet for a week and get away from it all but alas, that's not possible for me right now.

I will say though, it feels like everyone straight up forgot about that announcement, including Pokemon themselves. Nintendo isn't acknowledging it, nobody at GameFreak is even bothering to retweet, the Pokemon Twitter account went straight to announcing that the Zeraora goal was hit like not even an hour later (convienent timing), so I'm guessing they're just planning for Unite to fail.

I wish I could tell my toxic family to **** off, grab my stuff, go with my IRL friends for a whole month and just spend our time at the south of the island. Just being ourselves and happy about the fact we have overcome a lot of tough stuff since our births and taking some cool baths at the beach

I consider toxicity to someone being unneccesarily aggressive or mean, especially over inconsequntial things. You haven't really been doing that.

Doubt It since by the looks of It the post was made before the Arms reveal and spirits were not heavily pushed on yet.

Sora makes sense in that regard as he's more of a Disney character.

I would've rather had Twintelle, but that's just preference. Ultimately Min Min was a fine choice.

I find that not caring about things can relieve a lot of stress. While I acknowledge how bad the things happening in the world are, I've never let any of them get to me personally.

For something that TPC hyped up during last week's Pokemon Presents, a cheap looking MOBA with a starting roster of 10 Pokemon (8 from Gen 1 + Lucario and Talonflame) is a letdown.

I haven't watched any Nintendo presentation these past days.

Which is the reason why I barely talked about Min Min in Smash besides the obvious "maybe spirits don't deconfirm after all" bit.

Not because I dislike the character (I'm glad she's in) but because I haven't seen the trailer, the moveset or even the stage yet.

And I dislike to talk about stuff I know nothing about.

Nearly finished my first run of Jellyfish Fields in Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. Still a fun game with gorgeous visuals but there are some performance issues.

But GOOD GOD the voice actors for Mr. Krabs and Mermaid Man are painfully awful (the former THQ had absolutely no excuses to let slide).

I heard it was a thing with Nickelodeon where they weren't allowed to change the voices for the remake for some reason

Just looked it up. I don’t think the voice actors’ performances are painfully awful, just the voices. They sound nothing like the cartoon, and yeah that’s an issue.
