Also we may know the next character reveal date.

A post on 4chan made before the announcement predicted the exact date and that it was min-min.

The former is a bit trickier to guess as we usually don’t get things on a Monday and everybody thought it was gonna be last week, which is why I’m taking this with a grain of salt.

It didn’t say who the next character was but that August would be the reveal.

Poor Primarina. Decidueye got into Pokken, Incineroar into Smash and Primarina? Not even an assist in either. I guess at least Popplio is in Pokken, but so is Litten. That heel gonna be double dipping.

So these are dates of announcements right? Today the 19th is the announcement of the smash presentation, where as the actual ARMS reveal is the 22nd. With that said July 6th could announce a July 7th smash reveal which would be challenger pack 7 for fighter 77 on 7/07...

Here’s why I said that Vault Boy showing up with numbers relevant to him was interesting. The smash team seems to like stuff like that, such as the 8/818 direct.

Now this, and then,

that OP seems to have actual inside info reveals so like the 8.8.18 direct, a reveal with all those 7s lining up could actually make sense.

Of course take it with a grain of salt but it’s a fun theory.

Doesn’t help some people think Spring Man fans barely exist while also thinking most of the people wanting him didn’t genuinely want him and only cared about AT upgrades (I hoped for AT stuff too but I also genuinely like and wanted Spring Man after playing the ARMS trial and later reading stuff about him/seeing what others said about him; I think he’s a cool character, and I don’t take the AT thing nearly as seriously as others may, just focusing on the character itself).

Seeing Spring Man looking through the window in the new artwork on the ARMS Twitter account genuinely hurt a little even if it’s kinda funny too.

Aside from Min Min instead of the good Doctor, my predictions remain the same. Especially since Tekken (imo) has a decreased likelihood now. Though I should point out that Augumon basically just means "a namco character", Scorpion means "a surprise WTF character", and Chief means either him or DoomSlayer.

I'm very iffy on on this, mostly on the don't see it happening side.

under any other circumstances, i would have been excited, i would have been excited for any character from arms except for twintelle.

and i do think min min herself was a great inclusion and there's min min fans on this board that i have nothing but respect for. by all means, i should be more excited. but them having actively gone out of their way to cuck spring man, the fact that this was probably his best shot and the fact that some min min fans are being absolute assholes over this has basically created a perfect storm of **** that has seriously dampened my excitement.

but you know what, give it a couple days and i'll probably be back up again. at the end of the day i just hope there's at least one character in this pass that i can go monkey over

Yeah. Things could be better. But this isn’t new. Fans of literally anything in the Smash Bros community have been harassed and whatever else because they like something. It happens everyday. It isn’t right, but everyone has gone through it and everybody can continue to go through it. Ignore the a-holes.
And there’s a good chance you will. Maybe not your absolute favorites, but if you have more than maybe 7 reasonable requests, there’s a good chance one of them will get in the pass. And if not, it’s pretty unlikely that you wouldn’t like anybody in the pass.

You know what's weird? Even though I expected Springman, last night I had a dream that the reveal was going to be Min Min. Then I woke up with a gut feeling it would be her. I don't know why - I guess all her supporters just got into my head.

She looks great, by the way. Now that I've seen our ARMS fighter in action I'm really excited to play as her. She's probably going to be really annoying online though.

Still, June 29th can't come soon enough!
