You can add one echo character but, like Ganondorf, it has to be an echo of someone not related to the character's series.

Who do you pick. I know mine but I'll type it later.

The full line-up for Konami's Contra Collection has been revealed.

I'm not overly familiar with Contra, so I'm not sure about the quality of the games involved. Still, it's got the NES Contra, which wasn't on the Virtual Console for some reason. (Super C was, I believe, and it might be on the Wii U)

Its solid, especially since we got Hard Corps, wish we could've gotten 4 but given that it is on DS that might be an issue.

Arcade Contra - Good for it's time
NES Contra - Better than the Arcade as it's more fluid. The FC version has slightly improved graphics & features cutscenes.
Arcade Super Contra - Slightly more fluid than the original/better graphics, but still not as good as the NES port. Has overhead sections instead of 3rd person.
Super C - Good, but not as good as the original NES game/arguably harder. NA version only gives you 10 lives vs. JP version giving you 30.
Contra III - Doesn't have as big a legacy, but is very much the Castlevania 4 of the series. Both 16bit games were high points of the series.
Contra Hard Corps - One of the hardest games in the series, has 4 different playable characters (Man/Woman/Werewolf/Robot). Will be on the Genesis Mini.
Operation C - Gameboy standard good

Anyway it's nice to see Konami finally get their act together in regards to the NES version. I think the last re-release of that was on the DS with Contra 4. I can't imagine the amount of $$$ Konami lost when they missed the Wii VC boom.

Still waiting on those Rebirth titles to be re-released now that the Wii Shop Channel is dead...

You know, now I'm thinking this might actually be a better idea than Johnny.

Hilda from ALBW as an echo of Palutena. I guess that could work because Hilda has a staff.

Any more Zelda representation is good in my book. I feel like ALBW is criminally underappreciated.

Ogma as a Cloud echo. Swaps out Blade Beam for the Belmonts' axe, and Limit Charge for Counter.

As long as they don't use his FEH render. One of the worst ones IMO.

not gonna miss mystery mushroom too much tbh

yeah it was cool and all, but between them spending development time making 100+ new costmes for amiibo+amiibo cards since 2015 and negotiating rights to third party smash character costumes or just adding new stuff to make levels with, i'll take adding new stuff to make levels with

maybe i'd miss them more if they served any function beyond being glorified mushrooms

I would be dissapointed about the lack of amiibo costumes if I didn’t saw it coming with my track of trashy luck I’ve got during these recent days.

I just sadly found the scenario too likely with the way things are going for me.
