Why are you subjecting yourself to that?!Currently watching The Last Airbender movie.
About 50 minutes left to go
I watched it once. Never finished it.Why are you subjecting yourself to that?!
My sisters and I wanted to watch a movie, and my younger sister chose this one for laughs. Why are you subjecting yourself to that?!
I just fished up a giant ****ing dinosaur fish in New Horizons and it gave me a god damn heart attack.
I would of rather fished that up than the ****ing nightmare Shin Godzilla fish that was slapped in my arms.
Also this.Just finished The Last Airbender.
That movie was ASS.
Smash will tell me nowould it be fine to have a capcom crossover without Akuma?
my condolences for your sanityJust finished The Last Airbender.
That movie was AIDS.
It was funny for all the wrong reasons, but it made no sense. My biggest issue: who thought that bending was OK? Especially that one Earthbending scene. The Fire Nation was a joke too. Also this.
I don’t understandSmash will tell me no
TLA is personally worse for me since ATLA had such a big influence on me. The best thing Evolvion did was give Ernie Hudson a paycheck.Idk if I'd say TLA movie is better than Dragon Ball Evolution. TLA at least tried to get the plot correct (at least until they just gave up), but it was also worse in other aspects than Evolution. Evolution's biggest issue is how, for an adaptation, it somehow didn't follow the plot of anything DB in the slightest, but I'd say at least the characters were written somewhat (and that's a bit of a hyperbole) like their original incarnations.
Probably why it didn’t bother me that much then. I still don’t really get Avatar in general.TLA is personally worse for me since ATLA had such a big influence on me. The best thing Evolvion did was give Ernie Hudson a paycheck.
People have elemental powersProbably why it didn’t bother me that much then. I still don’t really get Avatar in general.
I know that part. I understand the story. I just don’t understand why everyone raves for it so much.People have elemental powers
Everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
'Cause it's good.I know that part. I understand the story. I just don’t understand why everyone raves for it so much.
No harm, no foul.So I just found out how to report past opponents, but I can't find any rules against smurfing. Probably because that's difficult to enforce.
But I'm certain that Ice Climbers main is a troll so I don't want to do nothing.
Should I report them?

Cause it’s a damn good show that was pretty much unlike anything else that was made by western animation at the time and is widely considered Nickelodeon’s magnum opus, it took influence from some of the most influential parts of Japanese animation like Ghibli, had dynamic and well rounded characters, solid worldbuilding, perfectly balanced it’s comedy, action and drama, tackled a lot of mature themes, rarely pulled any punches, potentially pioneered all this and more for future animated shows, etc.I know that part. I understand the story. I just don’t understand why everyone raves for it so much.
Sure why not? I report Mamboo07 every day and he's still here.So I just found out how to report past opponents, but I can't find any rules against smurfing. Probably because that's difficult to enforce.

I acknowledge that. I just don’t think it’s anything special (except that Iroh segment of that one episode). Magbe it’s just because it wasn’t my first action cartoon. Danny Phantom took up all of my mental space at that age. Or maybe it was my aversion to the anime aesthetic.'Cause it's good.
Of course 'good' is a subjective term but, it's a good series IMO.
A serialized action-adventure with character progression and a definitive endgoal was EXTREMELY uncommon at the time. There was nothing like ATLA when it aired, especially on NickelodeonI know that part. I understand the story. I just don’t understand why everyone raves for it so much.
For many people, it was the definitive "American Anime", and those people who once watched the show are now teens and young adults, with the rise of social media and streaming sites, people revist it, and turns out, the show is still legit good, and worth discussing. If you don't get it, cool, but it does have roots in both nostalgia, and still being a great show without rose tinted glasses.I know that part. I understand the story. I just don’t understand why everyone raves for it so much.
I think that’s part of what turned me off as a kid. Every time I watched it I was just like “when are they gonna beat the fire nation and move on to the next villain! They’ve been in this desert forever!”A serialized action-adventure with character progression and a definitive endgoal was EXTREMELY uncommon at the time. What next villain? The fire nation was the main conflict of the series.when are they gonna beat the fire nation and move on to the next villain!
I have no doubt that that was a consideration pitching the show to Nickelodeon...I think that’s part of what turned me off as a kid. Every time I watched it I was just like “when are they gonna beat the fire nation and move on to the next villain! They’ve been in this desert forever!”
That's understandable. I was all about wacky adventures in 11 minutes when I was younger, so long shows with overarching plots weren't really my thing until I got into the Pokemon anime. It's what turned me off of Adventure time, because the Flame Princess drama was just stupid and LONG.I think that’s part of what turned me off as a kid. Every time I watched it I was just like “when are they gonna beat the fire nation and move on to the next villain! They’ve been in this desert forever!”
